Rodízio it is a traditional barbecue on stick that walk around the place with different cuts. Na Brasa it is a very traditional barbecue place in Porto Alegre and with the years they became a highly gourmet place. I went as soon as I landed in Porto Alegre. The meat selection was great. Their pork (cupim) style it was unbelievable beautiful. The picanha cuts beautiful. They have s nice selection of sausages, but the cheese one was a bit disappointing. Considering the restaurant style there are no more a salad buffet, and yes a salad menu that you can order as many as you wish. The chicken heart was amazing. It is always my favourite. Definitely a place to go if you wish a rodízio in a more fancy way. Don’t get the churros at the dessert they are baked and not very nice.. but always can choose the traditional southern desserts. The staff is super accessible and friendly. Price BRL 178 per person for all...

However, this new restaurant chain is not up to his usual standards. The meat is not particularly tender (the top sirloin, a house specialty, was tough and stringy) and lacks salt - and therefore taste (yeah, we're all aware of the need to reduce sodium intake, but a Brazilian barbecue has to be seasoned with SOME coarse salt...). The waiters are nice, and service is good, but altogether a disappointing experience, mainly when you consider the owner's background. My second and...
Read moreExcelent brazilian high-scale restaurant for "rodizio". This is a "rodizio" restaurant with some high-end approach, with a salad entree, and the presentation of the rodizio as a tasting experience. The room is very nice, and the employees very attentive. Regarding food, all the meat cuts were very good, but it is worth special mention the "costoleta gauncho", the "NB steaK" and the "low sirloin". A "must go" place. A word of warning: it is reasonably expensive by brazilian standards (300 BR$ upwards for two), and there is no other menu choice than...
