Good food but probably the most expensive place in town!

Having tried most of the well known restaurants in town I have decided to try this one on my birthday. Chef´s food combination is always a bit out of the ordinary when compared to the other restaurants in town, so I praise him for his originality. Food presentation is great and service is attentive. I personally found some tables a bit too close to each other to a point I managed to learn quite a bit of my "neighbors" private life, even though I was trying really hard not to pay attention to what they were saying.

After sharing a starter, ordering 1 main course each , sharing a dessert and having a bottle of, probably, the cheapest wine they had , the bill came at around R$400--which is over U$100!! Price which I think can be compared to restaurants in Europe.

Final verdict is: despite having good "original" food it is too expensive for what it offers. I have had better food paying the same, AND the same quality food paying less . I might go back but this will never be one of...

Cozy place and well cooked food! In gereral it was a good experience. The lighting and volume of music were appropriate, the food was very well cooked and the portuguese wine we chose was tasty and had a reasonable price. I just think that the tables with a couch instead of a chair were really unformfortable. Two things that also bothered me a little were the discreet pressure for us to leave the table after we finished our meal and the lack of identity of the place, because I don`t feel that a place with just a cozy environment and elevator music, but nothing that really stands out, will make a memorable experience for me. Infelizmente, a minha experiência foi péssima. Fiz uma reserva para jantar e conforme solicitado, cheguei pontualmente as 19:00. Por conta de um incêndio na parte interna, a qual não foi definida, pediram que os clientes que estavam chegando aguardassem em mesas na parte externa do restaurante. Após checagem pelo corpo de bombeiros o local foi liberado. As recepcionistas, as quais acredito não foram bem treinadas, começaram a colocar para dentro clientes que chegaram após minha chegada, quando fui questionar, uma delas me disse que minha mesa era na parte externa !!! Perguntei qual era o critério para tal definição, mesmo porque , no momento da reserva feita por WhatsApp essa definição não é solicitada. Pediram para aguardar e notei que estavam tratando os clientes de forma parcial, não seguiram a ordem das reservas. O correto era colocar os clientes para dentro obedecendo a ordem de chegada. Quando reservo uma mesa em outros restaurantes não preciso discriminar se é dentro ou fora , sempre fica a escolha do cliente. Se isso é regra da casa deve ser comunicado com antecedência ao cliente no ato da reserva e não como foi feito pela recepcionista que mostrou uma extrema falta de tato. Por final achamos melhor irmos para outro restaurante onde fomos atendidos...
