Amendoeiras Moreré — Restaurant in Região Geográfica Imediata de Valença

In front of the Moreré beach, you can have one of the best baked fish with vegetables. We got at the Amendoeiras by 5 pm after a long day at the natural pools around the island, and a delicious, whole fish wrapped up in banana leaves was waiting for us. It was incredibly tasty and fresh and the roasted vegetables made a great side dish with farofa, pirão, baião de dois and vinagrette sauce. We love it!

We waited more than 2,5 hours and did not get any food we ordered. Meanwhile other people around us got their food in 30 minutes. Not sure what is going on, but it seems as long as you are not Brazilian, you get treated worse.

Really annoyed since it is a rather remote place and we are dependent on the service provided here.

Great value food and drinks. I had the grilled chicken which came with courgette, plantain, pumpkin, rice, beans and salad. All for 50brl.
