How this place has any positive reviews is beyond me. I went in and waited a good ten mins for someone to take my order, it wasn’t busy. I ordered avocado and toast to be told they had no avocado. Fine, give me a minute I said, I’ll have another look… ten mins later no one had come back, despite it being even LESS busy, so I go to order at the bar. A mushroom omelette please - Sorry we have no mushrooms.

Is this some sort of joke? I felt like saying well then tell me what you do have and I’ll choose from that. I ordered a different omelette. It came with stale bread and “cream cheese” that was synthetic crap squeezed out of a tube. I ate this with flies constantly buzzing around me (this isn’t a problem anywhere else I’ve eaten in town), and a filthy dog begging at my table the entire time. I finally gave him some bread to get rid of him (I’m a dog lover but this was not cool) - to which the owner leapt up and berated me.

Oh I don’t know, if you’re so against your dog being given scraps, then maybe don’t let it sit at customers’ feet begging for food for the entire meal?! They were so busy sitting chatting to each other they couldn’t care less. Being “told off” like a child was the final straw. I paid and left as quickly as possible, just a horrible experience.

Rude, lazy staff, dirty surroundings (God forbid what the back of house looks like if the front is this bad), crap food. I would recommend going literally anywhere in town...

I hate leaving bad reviews but we went for lunch and the food was just awful. I had the couscous and it was so dry, and bland it tasted like cardboard. We also had the veggie burger and it wasn’t good at all. It also took forever to get the food, at least 1 hour from the time we ordered.

This place might be good for coffee and pastries but it’s really bad for lunch. I do not recommend. We had delicious burgers...

Absolutely LOVE this place! Their coffee is very good and they have a nice breakfast/brunch menu. They also have a very wide menu of food ranging from burgers to pasta, to snacks like bruschetta (which is excellent)!

The owner is very friendly, I discussed with him a lot about music and he played some songs that I suggested! 😊
