We took uber to top of hill, then walked 5-8mins to the bar. The view is fantastic, we reached there at 2pm, not many people so we chose any seats we want. Staff are friendly and the atmosphere is great. Same walking distance to the main street, we took motorcycle to bring us down the hill. Each ride cost 10reals, it's great experience to travel all the way downslopes to entry point. Then you could get uber or taxi to back to town. It's advisable to take uber as it cost lower fare than taxi. We paid by cash and it took longer time to return changes to us. We never chased them, but i guess they were short of small changes. Great view, terrible service. The waiters were basically trying to steal from us. We were paying with cash, and they purposefully “forgot” to get us our change. At first I thought it was an honest mistake, but then it happened 3 more times. Each time we kindly reminded the waiter they owed us change still. By the third time, the waiter was giving us an attitude, like we were wrong for even asking for the change.we managed to get all the change we were owed, but it took them forever, and they were still being reluctant, trying to ignore us, and “forget” again. If you go here, keep an eye on this, because it obviously was not their first...

Se eu pudesse usar uma palavra pra definir o Réveillon no Alto Vidigal seria: revoltante! É um absurdo um bar se propor a fazer uma festa de réveillon, cobrando os preços que cobrou (os ingressos no dia estavam R$1.500) e oferecer um serviço tão horroroso como o que foi oferecido.

Simplesmente não havia comida nem bebida suficientes. Quase nada da cozinha chegava na dita “área VIP”. Inclusive, o conceito de área VIP que o Bar do Alto tem é muito equivocado. Pra conseguir qualquer bebida, que quase sempre estava quente, era preciso correr atrás dos garçons ou então enfrentar filas imensas no bar.

Os banheiros logo no início estavam elameados. O lugar cheio e desconfortável . Pra ajudar, a única coisa boa era a vista, mas estava obstruída por uma decoração absurda feita de folhas de coqueiro.

Nada do que constava na lista, seja bebida ou comida, foi servido. Tudo tinha cara de improvisado, mal feito, de baixa qualidade. Uma das maiores vergonhas foi ver que alguns clientes tendo que comprar combo de bebida, já que o open bar da festa não passava de ficção. A equipe estava cansada e estressada por conta das cobranças. Enfim, um réveillon horrível.

Ao ver que o bar desativou os comentários no Instagram, só posso entender que se trata de má fé! Cobraram por uma festa de ano novo e entregaram uma bagunça.

Nunca mais voltarei a este lugar. E toda vez que for possível, irei alertar outros consumidores para não serem enganados. Passar a virada de ano na rua teria sido mais prazeroso. Uma vergonha que os organizadores além de não se pronunciarem, ainda bloqueiam comentários.

Mês sinto vítima de um golpe. Sei que nem o dinheiro será devolvido nem o minha virada de ano será recuperado. Então só me resta reclamar e avisar a todos que eu puder pra não caírem...
