As a lifelong football fan, seeing a match at the iconic Maracanã stadium was a dream come true during my trip to Rio. I was lucky enough to visit the stadium 25 years ago, so I knew I had to make it happen again—but this time, things felt more complicated. Buying tickets directly through the club was confusing, and many resale platforms and tour companies were charging eye-watering prices.

Thankfully, someone recommended Henry from Experience Rio, and I couldn’t be more grateful. My wife and I have travelled a lot over the years. For a number of years our football crazy boys have had this dream of going to Brazil. However, we’ve been a little bit reluctant to bring small children to the big city of Rio with all its potential dangers that comes with it. After finding a FB group were somebody recommended Experience Rio and Henry to me, organizing and finding my way around Rio has literally been like a walk in the park. Originally we wanted some advise on tickets for a Flamengo game, but then we also went on a day hike in Tijuca and then they also helped us on an Ihla Grande Transfer. But the best part was all the advise they gave us outside these trips. If we where uncertain of something, we had somebody with extensive inside knowledge to ask by sending a quick WhatsApp so we could focus on having the best time at the best spots and avoid dangers and preferably avoid making too many errors in a condense amount of time like a holiday is. I could not recommend Henry and Experience Rio enough.
