Well how can you get better than perfect. In every sense. The coffee is divine (try the cappuccino (see pic) and chai latte). Even bought a couple of whole bean bags to take home. The food is exceptional. We had the 3 cheese pressed Cheese bread and the Brigadeiro pressed Cheese bread - again see pics). The atmosphere is relaxed and the place is mainly local who know a great cafe and who frequent it often. The service was exceptional. We had a limited (ok we hardly know Portuguese) working knowledge of the language but were patiently and calmly explained the various choices of the menu by all there. This is a place that is among the best of the best. Try them. You’ll thank yourselves for coming here. It can be hard to find good coffee in Rio. The land of coffee unfortunately exports a lot of the good stuff out, leaving the average coffee place with super bitter beans. This place is where you are going to get that Brazilian coffee you were hoping for. Resolvi voltar aqui pra contradizer a resposta que a casa me deu. NÃO. A casa NÃO estava cheia na hora em que fiz o pedido. No segundo andar, havia apenas DUAS mesas ocupadas, considerando a minha, uma delas. Continuam sem cuidado, ao responder à avaliação com blá blá blá. Melhorem (de novo)!

Perderam a oportunidade de ganhar 5 estrelas por bobeira. O lugar é lindo, os preços um tanto salgados, mas Rio de Janeiro, né? A comida estava deliciosa. Motivo de tirar uma estrela: Pedi 1 espresso duplo e 1 pão de queijo. Veio só o café espresso. Me esqueço que, no Rio, você TEM QUE EXPLICAR que é pra vir junto, mesmo isso parecendo óbvio. Dps de um tempo, veio o pão de queijo. O café quase acabando. Fiz o segundo pedido. Café coado e queijo quente caramelizado. EXPLIQUEI QUE QUERIA OS DOIS JUNTOS. Advinhem. Pois bem, estou aqui escrevendo essa avaliação, com o café no fim e NADA de queijo quente... Aí, fica difícil, né, uma cafeteria em que você gasta 40 só pra começar, não terem esse cuidado...
