In 5 days in rio city , it is was the worst restaurant I was try it at 10/6/2023 Best meat with bad service 1- i was waiting from 9:45 pm to 10:25 pm as i remmber ( check your restaurant camera if not sure ) Zero meat given to me and my friend while the next table still give them meat ( like thay said or mean … please pay your bill and go away ) which let me mad and i like to pay and go and not return again 2- slow service ( i feel like iam in 1-2 star restaurant) 3- it was the highest price with bad service 4- thay choose to US very bad table Donot put 2 singel ( man or weman ) even couple or not … next to family table with multi kids Becouse it is so so noisy ( it is logic no need to teach you that ) , i donot choose the table thay choose it to me 5- i donot want to tell you about one waiter how he was run between tables , like in marathon, this not the way to show me how you are perfect kkkkk bring meat to me better than you jump and run between table 6- the buffet is regular , it not the best between same type restaurant, only meat is good and not super good 7-after i wait and i feel that not chance to bring meat i ask for sweet ( thay was runing to let us go out ) any way please in this kind of restaurant 5 star as you think It was super bad , really i was think that i ganna eat sweer never every i teast in my life But was below regular In conclusion To compare every things happen to me and price I think i pay around 530 RS for bad table location , unbring meet more than 25 min for US only , slow service , regular buffet , and i donot want to talk about disgusted sweet

So disappointed! We’re visiting from the US and are very used to Fogo’s usual excellent service and product. We decided to try the Fogo in Barra thinking maybe the meats in Brazil would taste even better. WRONG!! Our waiter looked like he didn’t want to be there, not a smile, didn’t offer to exchange our plates, refill our drinks, he was not proactive at all! I had to ask him to do stuff. The meats: we saw the same 4 cuts of meats over and over(and this was a Saturday night!) I finally asked someone who looked like a manager if maybe they had sausage or any other cuts. Then, about 20 minutes later, we got some sausage and beef rib. All not very tasty. Meat cutting servers: 5 out of 5. At least they were trying. Our waiter: ZERO! Salad bar: 3.5 out of 5 (didn’t look too fresh bc they weren’t busy) Meat quality and selection: 3.5 out of 5. This was the worst Fogo experience we’ve EVER had. We’ve been to Fogo in Chicago, Houston, Dallas….and all of them had excellent service, salad bars and meats. I mean it’s Saturday night, April 20th, and it wasn’t even busy there. I went to Fogo De Chao Barra for my birthday the service was excellent from the minute we entered the restaurant. We was given a full explanation of how the restaurant experience will be and how to stop or start the meal by our great host Bianca, if you’ve never been here before you will find out when you go as you will definitely want to visit this place if your in Rio last night was my first time and will be coming back before I fly back home. The food is delicious all different types of beef I’m not a big steak eater but was filling my plate a lot as the excellent servers were coming around. The staff are so friendly and helpful! Big shout out to Bianca and Ronyz! Ronyz was very funny and friendly helped take photos without us asking us so kind of him. This a very high class restaurant with staff of the same credit would highly recommend Fogo de Chão Barro to anyone visiting Rio de Janeiro it’s a must! lovely atmosphere good for a date night, friend's get together, work function or family get together really can’t express how nice this place is didn’t take to many photos but will upload loads when we go back again...
