Beside that the place is obviously a tourist trap, we had a very bad experience. After 2 hours waiting in a ugly room with poor misc quality, excess air-conditioning and no service we left the place for another restaurant. Many other visitors did the same. In stead of apologies for the bad service we received the bill for meals that we had ordered but never I reached out table, a service fee and entrance fees. The only meal that reached our table poor quality salad with bacon. The place is very expensive for the poor quality they offer. If you are lucky the have a table in the main room you can enjoy the good atmosphere. We couldn't see or hear anything about what was going on in the stage or dancefloor. After a long discussion we could leave without paying everything. But the security makes sure they you won't leave without paying. Many people we heard many people complaining about similar issues. The scenarium is quite the scene, reservations may be required to seat yourself next to the live music at the ground floor, if you fail, you can always fine room on the two floors above. You'll find people dancing to the music there and being served food and drinks efficiently. I had a limited selection as a vegetarian, but the little on the menu was still good. The Staff were good. Almost nobody speaks English, though a good percentage of the clientele is English Speaking though by no means a majority. The Acoustics are good. Ensure you have a a highly rated Cab Uber or A99 driver take you there. A 19th-century 3-story mansion with eclectic and vintage designs and objects hanging from the walls. One pays a cover charge to enter and hear different bands and music shows perform throughout the night. There are supposedly 7 different environments and is considered one of the 10 best bars in the world by the Guardian newspaper.

Prices are reasonable for both food and drinks, and it is a lovely place to watch people samba on the dance floor.
