I actually feel bad having given 5 stars to other places actually.
This is now my favourite restaurant in the world!
Staff was very gentle, attentive and knowledgeable. Waiting time was somewhat of a fast food, incredibly fast. And the food, oh my God the food! My wife and I had a Prawns Moqueca which was one of the best I've ever eaten and the presentation was fabulous. One moqueca was plenty for both of us and there was some left to bring home.
My wife likes wine and loved the white wine bottle they recommended. I'm a beer guy and I always enjoy when places offer more than just average supermarket brands and it's even more when they go as far as inform the IBU of the beers, I had a Weiss and recommend it.
For dessert we shared an ice cream which was equally tasty, I'm not sure but I'd say it's in house made.
Environment is amazing and very "beach-ish" looking, toilets are clean and tables are spacious.
As everything in South America it was impressively cheap.
We went in the off season so parking on the street was easy and free, but might be an issue during the high season.
I really can't think of any thing about this place that I wouldn't describe as amazing. Really recommend and I'm definitely going back in our next...
Read moreThis place is really nice, you should expect a sort of fancy bistro. The atmosphere is quite pleasant, even though it was pouring rain outside (there wasn’t live music this day - which was a good thing for me).
The food: overall good and tasty! I wouldn’t ask for the Vieira with lemons (too bitter), neither the Vegetables Spaghetti with Octopus (the octopus was FENOMENAL, however the spaghetti and shrimps lacked a ton of seasoning and tasted nothing); you should get the Casquinha de Lagosta though - it’s SO GOOD!
Desert: I had the banana thing and definitely recommend! It’s amazing.
Drinks: GO THERE AND TRY IT! There a so many options you could go dozens of times and still have something to try :)
Staff: great, however not amazing for the price. Usually when you’re open to pay more than R$200 per person you don’t wanna keep asking for the waiter and raising your hand trying go get someone’s attention (it wasn’t awful, ok? Only it didn’t match the price in...
