Risoteria e Restaurante Villa Lobos — Restaurant in Região Imediata de São José dos Campos

A sheer force in flavor can be felt when you taste some of the items in Villa Lobos menu. The menu is focused in quality instead of variety. The restaurant present itself as a combination of international cuisine and great wines. First and foremost I recommend you to choose which wine you will be enjoying during your full course meal. They have a showroom adjacent to the restaurant where you can choose from a good assortment of an international selection of wines.

I tried the Jamon Risotto harmonized with a Portuguese varietal wine (1/2 bottle). I can truly say that I enjoyed there one of the best Risottos of my life.

Make room for Dessert. It is worthy.

The only setback for non-locals or tourists is the proper lack of parking space but for every problem there is a solution. Since I told you to pick a wine and you don't want to break any laws... take a cab. If you really want to drive there you should try to park your car in the supermarket lot located 50 yards ahead on the left side of the street.

Fui ao Villa Lobos após muito tempo planejando a visita.

Aproveitamos a semana dos namorados e fomos fora do dia em si, para uma celebração em casal.

O espaço foi além das expectativas, há mesas, um bar, uma grande adega e um espaço para eventos. Externamente parece menor.

Há manobrista, sem custo.

A comida de valor alto, mas dentro do preço de concorrentes do mesmo nível deixou a desejar. Como o Villa Lobos é especializado em risotos, esperava algo muito diferenciado. Porém não supera restaurante normais que servem este tipo de prato. Pedimos um risoto de cogumelos fresco trufado, outro di Capri e uma brusqueta.

O risoto de cogumelos trufado estava muito forte no alho, o que apagou o sabor de um prato trufado. Já di Capri era oposto, bastante suave, até mesmo sem muito sabor. A brusqueta estava boa.

Excellent risottos (as well as other options). It's great to have such a large range of most interesting risottos that taste great and are beautifully presented. The service is very, very nice, too - very attentive. Highly recommended and worth a detour when passing...
