I will never come back here again.

I was sitting with a friend at the picnic table outside. Two ladies to my left were working on a laptop and screaming into the phone doing a meeting. Several staff members came to the shared table while they were using their laptop. At some point, they stopped using the laptop and continued their extremely loud & disruptive phone call. Meanwhile, I’m quietly working. An employee then came out and told me I could not use the laptop. At a table with EIGHT open seats. And while he said this, the ladies continued their loud conference call. He said nothing to them.

I find it obnoxious to single out the person working quietly and ignore such disruptive behavior. This was on my list of coffee shops to visit in SP and it will now be removed from my list. There are too many other good places, so my friend and I left to go enjoy the other places with better...

Had the worst experience ever. I went in to the place without knowing the no laptop rule. The staff explained it to me and I told him that I had a really important meeting going on and that I would only use my laptop for 10 minutes while waiting for my order. I even promised him that I would close my laptop as soon as I got my order and leave the place ASAP once I finish eating. Yet even with this, he told me that he would stop making my order if he did not see my laptop closed. So I literally saw the staff making my waffle and just leaving it in the open air but neither of the two staff would hand it to me because I was “disrespecting the house rule”. Extremely unpleasant experience and honestly can’t think of anything more...

I returned to this coffee shop today. Unfortunately this second time it was not good. I ordered my meal and coffee to eat during a conference call I had to do and was informed that the coffee shop does not allow the use of Laptops during your stay in the shop even if you order a meal (in this case for two persons). This should be an alert to everybody heading there with the intention to work during your meal or after for a while. I really think this policy is an absurd when you think of other competitors in which you are encouraged to go and work from there. So, I do not recomend to anyone need for a good coffee...
