Terrible food, even worse service.

I have never written a negative review before but I could not let this dining experience go without note.

From our first interaction with the woman organizing the barge for crossing to the restaurant, staff were rude and uninterested in their jobs. The restaurant had many empty tables but we waited for 45 min to be seated, with no information, when the hostess could have easily told us we would be seated when the tour boat leaves run by the restaurant. We ordered a bottle of Prosecco but they had nothing in stock. Instead of helping us find another bottle our server went back to playing with his phone. The restaurant was over staffed but all servers were on their phones and we needed to ask for everything - menus, plates, cutlery for our child, and the food for our child, which came out very late. The servers never bussed any of our dishes or refilled our wine. The food itself was mediocre to bad. The ceviche tasted like rubber.

This location is stunning and design of the restaurant is good too. The owner should consider firing the front and back of house staff and starting fresh.

This is the worst restaurant experience I’ve had in South America (where I’ve lived for three years). Our dining experience took place on...

This just wasn't for me. My 3 stars could easily be someone's 5 stars as seen by the massive amount of 5 star reviews.

Pro: food is good outside upstairs seating is the best seating on this barge

Con: (long list and 100% my own appinion) the line to get in gets HUGE if you show Up early, we are talking easily 50 plus people (it will move fastish when your booking starts) once people get off the boat they rush to get seats and food (total chaos) staff does not explain anything workers just try to fill the plates as fast as possible too many people to enjoy (especially if you are getting food, you are squeezing by everyone and people are sitting down) just not the relaxed environment the pictures portray nausea (it was calm seas and still the barge rocked, if you look down to long I started getting sick, for someone that easily gets nauseous this isn't for you) way too expensive for services rendered (not worth it at all for the price)

It's an interesting experience, glad I did it, won't be returning. If I went 30 maniutes after my times slot, and beat that initial rush it would have been a...

Very poor service - be careful, safety concerns

Not worth it. I went with a group of 6, and waited over one hour for our food. They forgot our order and we had to order again, and it took 15 minutes for anyone to say hello. Half of the food was cold. This was not an extreme circumstance - many other tables were also confused and waited ages. Will need 3 hours to eat here because of the extremely poor service unfortunately.

On the boat back to the shore, people on the dock rushed on-board and caused the boat the partially sink, and two of my friends fell half onto the dock /water. They scraped their legs and have bruises. Extreme safety concerns with this restaurant - and honestly, quality of service concerns on top of that. Would not return. Suggest improving the safety for...

This is hands down one of the coolest restaurants ever! You’re literally dining on the water—floating in the stunning Baía de Guanabara, with amazing views and such a unique vibe. It’s such a fun experience from start to finish. For those who enjoy a good drink, you’ll be impressed by the variety—so many bottles, cocktails flowing, and lots of tables clearly there to celebrate. The food was absolutely delicious, and the service was spot-on. You do have to line up for a little boat to take you over, which just adds to the charm! As a vegan, I really appreciated that they made accommodations for me, though I’ll say the menu isn’t super vegan-friendly by default—so just a heads-up if that’s important to you. Totally worth it for the experience, the views, and the great energy. Loved it!

Super recomendo!
