C2 RESTAURANT — Restaurant in Bardhaman

I know there are three sister counters of this restaurant. C1 (Canteen 1), C2 & C3. I have been to C2 & C3 several times. Quality of food offered in C2 is the best in the city. It can not only compete with the best restaurants of Kolkata, but also defeating some of the best of them. Quality of food is really awesome. However quantity is not compromised as well. The prices of dishes are on a bit higher range, but its worth it. The location is also good and so the outside sound does not disturb the ambiemce. The inside design of the restaurant is modern and pretty good. The have 3 food courts (3 rooms to sit and have food), thus providing enough space for bigger parties. Security is also very good. Hygenic, and female-friendly toilets are added advantage. In Summer Air Conditioning run, not required in Winter. 6 sitter tables (3 sitter sofas at both side of the table) makes it a place to have chat with friends party. Behaviour and hygiene of the staffs are applausable. In a nutshell I am very happy to have visited this restaurant....

🔸Ambience: Well decorated with lightings. Seating arrangement is also comfortable. (3/5,)

🔸Service: Service is good and fast. Waiters are very patient. If one wants to celebrate anything, they even allow the cake from outside. (4/5)

🔸Foods ordered with price: (2/5)

1. Fish Finger (250/-): 8 pieces. Not juicy enough. But it was far better than other dishes.
2. Chicken Tikka Kebab (260/-): Very hard and chewy. Not at all good.
3. Chicken Reshmi Butter Masala (295/-): The gravy was good but the chicken pieces weren't as soft as expected.
4. Chicken Biryani (185/-): Served with 2 pieces of chicken and a aloo, this biryani doesn't even taste like biryani. It lacked th aroma and flavour. Not recommended.
5. Butter Naan ( 55/-): Better than rest of the dishes.
6. Virgin Mojito (90/-): Very refreshing.

🔸Pocket pinch : Taxes are applied to the overall bill: CGST- 2.5% SGST-2.5% Almost 1500 for 3 people.

🔸Personal Opinion: For the price of the food, the taste is not at all good. Need to work hard...

I am a great lover of Canteen Group (Burdwan)...each and every thing is really great... their food quality, their quantity, their service...their small but cozy atmosphere...I liked everything. Though I am a hard nut to crack... Canteen, Perbirhata satisfied my tongue for quite some time. But this C2 RESTAURANT, a Canteen Group venture beside Bardhaman Nursing Home, Khoshbagan... will surely test your taste buds. The place is fantabulous...the best among all Canteen Restaurants ... parking is great (a common problem of all Canteen Restaurants), the service is good though a bit slow...but the real El Classico is their below average quality food. Their chicken is unwilling to digest, their mutton is unwilling to split. And the real surprising thing is their carefully careless attitude. Surely they are now 'Quality with Inconsistency '. And one thing more, don't trust Smiling Faces......
