Burger King | Tuol Kork — Restaurant in Khan Toul Kork

I was a little disappointed in my Burger King Tuol Kork experience. I knew what the prices would be like coming in so I was prepared for things to be pricey. The food was standard BK fare.

My issues were twofold.

1. The air conditioning was inadequate to handle the April heat and as a result, I found myself sweating inside the dining area.
2. I ordered a drink for 5900 and handed the cashier 10000 riel. He looked as if he had never seen Khmer money before (only a slight exaggeration). It took him calling the manager to come up with the concept that I should get 4100 in change.

If this were a discount/street food place, I would put up with such things but when I am paying the BK price, I expect more.

Thus Burger King where the food is spot-on—juicy burgers, crispy fries, and fresh ingredients that taste exactly as you'd hope. Each bite reminds you of why you love their menu. But the experience outside of the food isn’t quite as enjoyable. The service is slow, with staff who seem a bit uninterested or distracted, making the wait longer than expected. The atmosphere feels uninviting, maybe with harsh lighting, tables that aren’t as clean as they should be, and a bit of noise that makes it hard to relax.
