The food was outstanding and the service was top-notch. Yes, it’s on the pricier side, but the quality completely justifies it. What really sets this place apart though is their integrity and professionalism. I accidentally left my purse at the restaurant after dinner, and didn’t realize until the next evening when I needed my ID. I called them the following day and they had kept it safe with all my belongings intact - money, ID, everything. When I picked it up, the staff were so friendly and helpful, even making sure I checked that nothing was missing. In a world where honesty can be rare, The Yard proved they truly care about their customers beyond just the dining experience. The combination of excellent food, great service, and genuine trustworthiness makes this the best restaurant I’ve been to in Douala. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a quality dining experience in Bonapriso. This is definitely the place for special occasions or when you want to treat yourself. Découverte du Yard tout récemment un vendredi soir 2 février. Le lieu est très sympa, beau, et l’accueil Est très bien. Nous souhaitions dîner en couple.

La carte Honnêtement on l’a trouvé un peu trop simpliste, pas beaucoup de choix.

Les plats Nous avions pris un Burger à environ 9000 et du poulet riz pilaf. Concernant le Burger il était meilleur que ce qui se fait à douala. Nous avons apprécié. Mon époux n’a pas été fan des frites mais moi j’ai aimé. Je ne pense pas que ce soit du fait maison, mais elles sont bonnes. Nous avons regretté la minuscule assiette type ardoise sur laquelle était servi le Burger et ses frites. Trop petite, difficile à manger avec des couverts dessus. Pour ma part pour un restaurant de ce standing nous ne sommes pas censé manger le Burger avec nos doigts comme si on était au fast-food du coin. Le riz pilaf et son poulet: plat bon sans être exceptionnel mais qu’est ce que les quantités sont petites !! Le poulet on se demande s’il a été assez nourris de son vivant tellement il était maigre. Le riz très bon mais quantités vraiment minimes. On reste clairement sur sa faim PS: à la base je voulais prendre un autre plat accompagné de polenta ( je ne me souviens plus du nom). J’ai demandé si c’était possible de changer l’accompagnement car je n’aime pas la polenta et ce fut un non cuisant. La serveuse n’a même pas essayer d’aller voir en cuisine ce qu’il était possible de faire. Soi disant les plats sont faits comme ça et c’était à prendre ou à laisser.

Les desserts: nous avons pris un tiramisu et un moelleux au chocolat. Rien a dire sur le moelleux mais le tiramisu pitié c’en était pas un. Déçue déçue déçue.

Le service: très bien, mais les desserts ont été super longs à venir (environ 45 minutes) mais bon je n’en tiens pas rigueur ça peut arriver.

L’ambiance: vers 23h les lumières s’éteignent et l’ambiance change. Très sympa mais nous ne sommes pas restés très longtemps pour vraiment en profiter.

Les prix: corrects pour Bonapriso, du moins rien de surprenant. Mais malheureusement le rapport qualité prix (pour le restau uniquement) n’est pas bon. Je préfère aller dîner ailleurs puis venir y boire un verre.

Est ce que je recommanderais le yard à un ami ou pourrais-je y retourner ? Pour dîner, clairement non. Pour boire un verre et chiller dans une bonne ambiance, très...

The design of this restaurant lounge is spot on. My type of design, chic and sleek. The reception was warm , our waitress was a bit unaware of the kitchen closing time . We had a small issue about it after we had already placed our order which made me very unhappy with her unawareness of her own duty but came the manager in duty that evening that sorted all that in minutes. Amazing job young lady 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾. We enjoyed the meal, drinks and an amazing DJ that was playing all of my old school 90's best . I enjoyed every bit of that evening. I recommend this restaurant 💯% . I will have to stop by every time I visit...
