Clearbrook... the Abbotsford one is much better. I ordered online eventually the combo 2 chicken sandwiches. From that one item they missed 2 tenders of 2, 1 popcorn of 2, mixed up 2 sauces, Counter person didn't know the sale items. Three different forms of prices and availability one on the app. This didn't have the item I wanted. One on online through a web online this had no picture and was very confusing . 1 on the store. Very difficult to find out what was available what prices and what deals. Poor English skills. Extremely rude I'd ask a question they would talk Indian I would get an answer. Instead of English where I might have caught their mistake. No availability to order food online and ask for a time for it to be ready that I can find. Instead of having people parked to the side and wait for their order I stood in line up for 12 minutes in the car. Poor As soon as I got home and checked my order. I called the manager who could care less I said well how is this going to be corrected. Okay she said I'll replace what you were missed and give you a chicken sandwich. And how are you going to know who I am she said we already have your name sir and your phone number. I said okay. Next day I went in to pick up my order. Lady there said we don't know who you are, I said the manager told me she wrote my name down I could come in and get it. No you'll have to come back. Then ignored me and started helping another lady. I stood directly in front of the other lady , sorry, and said no. She then phoned somebody. Came back and gave me a chicken sandwich and a small popcorn chicken. I said what about the two chicken tenders that were included in the combo. She said the manager said no you don't get that. I said she said she would replace what I missed and the chicken sandwich. She said that's what you get. I said no And stood there, she then gave me the chicken tenders. I checked the package for the third time I said you didn't give me any of the sauces that were incorrect from yesterday's order. Then I had to fight for the sauces. Moral, go to the Abbotsford one. If you have to use this one check your order fully unwrapping it in the lineup. Demand correction while you hold the line up. Get names and times. Judging from all the other complaints that sadly I looked at after I ordered , Worst company attitude...
Read moreI have not given a 1-star on anything before. Check my profile. I typically only ever do 5-star reviews of companies who really go above and beyond. I do not prefer to give negative reviews publicly because I know managing a business is hard enough as it is, but in this case I feel I have no other options.
On December 23rd, I ordered a meal for my family costing $41.99 using the KFC app. I live in Mission and have only ordered from the Mission store, but for whatever reason the app ordered from this Abbotsford address. I called them immediately expressing that I had made an error and I hoped they hadn't started bagging my order yet. They assured me they hadn't, and cancelled the order, promising I would be reimbursed within the next couple of business days. Great!
Well, 3 weeks went by and still I wasn't reimbursed. I emailed the "support" desk at KFC.com, they got me into contact with the wrong store (the Mission address who I DID order from on December 23rd, who were very helpful), but eventually chatted with a manager/supervisor at the Clearbook store who said I would get reimbursed. OK, great!
Well, 5 more weeks went by and still I wasn't reimbursed. On February 10th I, again, emailed KFC.com to get this resolved. Even though I punched in my receipt with all the correct information, they (again) sent me to the wrong store. This time to the Sumas location who were, again, very helpful. They also provided me the direct email to the Clearbrook site which I have called and emailed on February 10, 11, 13, 14, 15, and 17, with no response.
Well, it has been 11 weeks (57 days) since December 23, and still I have not been reimbursed. It probably isn't worth the amount of time and frustration to get $42 back, but it just seems really unprofessional to have a company promise to reimburse you (twice) and then to ignore all your correspondence and not...
Read moreQuite poor for kfc standards, I believe it may be this specific store. I ordered a 30$ meal bucket. The chicken tasted unsalted/unseasoned, I only tested what might have been pepper. I never would have thought fried chicken that was famous for its 'recipe' could become so dull and diluted, how sad for the brand name. This isn't about their smaller cut chicken pieces , though they too look terrible. Not always, but in this particular order they seem to have shrunk more in size with photo below. They are sized as chicken wings, why not relabel the restaurant to Kentucky fried wings? All I feel looking at it is the inconvenience of having to pick through less meat/more bone and be left with greasy hands to wash and more bones to throw away - - as I only eat one piece at a time. Not a good feeling for natural human instinct.
I ordered a ranch dip, something I specifically prefer and won't order certain foods without. They must've been out as they threw in barbeque and an extra plum dip instead. I can't stand either of those dips and I was never notified of the change. I wouldn't have asked a refund over something that small but I find it difficult to trust a brand when they substitute your order without apologizing or mentioning it. In the past many months ago if service was slow this kfc would throw in extras like gravy, and their chicken was properly seasoned too. That's why I'm giving them 2 stars.
Oh and not to forget the potato salad was also now served as chunks of potato with sauce. Hate it compared the to old kind of salad, but my review would be 4 stars even with the salad. The chicken has just become so sad and pathetic, what is your marketing department thinking to make these changes? Or it could be only this branch, I used to remember getting seasoned chicken at other...
