Update: made a reservation this evening for a table of 8 for a 30th birthday - it went wonderfully. The front staff knew the man of the hour had no idea it would be more than just him and I. He was beyond shocked. Drinks came quick, food came quick and simply perfect. Bday boy ordered a rack of the ribs and some wings. I ordered the 12oz prime rib steak Med rare with the crispy mash and added a lobster tail. The steak was perfect and had a wonderful marble. Lobster was delicious with the butter and whole garlic gloves on the side. The crispy mash wasn't really for me. It was okay but felt like it needed more potato in the spring roll type of outing? I tried his wings and they were extremely crispy, juicy and full of flavor. The table had ordered nachos with I think every topping available and it was a hit with a massive amount. The table was quite happy with service (sorry no pic in update) Had a little date night here over the weekend and were seated quite quickly (arrived before dinner rush). Hostess and server were great. Server checked in and made sure we were all good. Food was super filling and the portion sizes were great. I ordered the French Onion soup to start then the Cajun seafood fettucine for my main. French Onion soup was full of flavor. Solid amount of cheese, Onion and croutons. Cajun Seafood Fettucine was a really good portion of pasta and seafood. Scallops and nugget sized salmon pieces (see photo of seafood lineup and sizes). It had a nice kick but wasn't overly spicy. Sauce was really creamy and flavorful!

I have been to Lou’s Grill a couple of times in the past. During my recent visit, it was for brunch. When I arrived, the pub was not too busy, however parking was still troublesome to find, even with the parking lot behind the building. I was able to find a table right away, despite the busy intake of people. I chose to sat outside for a little bit until I decided to sit inside the restaurant when I found it uncomfortable enough. I ordered the Egg Benedict with crispy bacon and coffee. The coffee was lackluster to say the least, even with lots of cream and sugar added to it. The benedicts were great, along with the hashbrowns that came with them. The bacons was so crispy and savoury while the hollandaise sauce was pretty nice. The hashbrowns were nicely seasoned and cooked very fine. The green salad that also came with the entrée was quite good as well. The look of the restaurant was relatively sophisticated-looking. Although, I did not like how loud it was and how crowded the pub was since I usually enjoy calm ambience. The service from the staff was great and did all they could to accommodate my visit. Overall, Lou’s Grill is a good restaurant; not the best though. The main reason I do not come here often is mainly the parking issues like finding a space and trying to maneuver in a small area. But this is a good place for big tables of people and parties.

we had a birthday party with 11 people, and they were able to accommodate us very nicely! when the dishes arrived however one of the girls passing the trays out (not our main server) came out pretty rude as she said the dishes were heavy to hold and she can’t wait for us to find the person who ordered it, so she just slammed it on the table and left. one of our friends can’t eat pork and unfortunately didn’t see that the blackened chicken sandwich had bacon on it, so when he got his plate and we started talking about it and tried to notify the servers, the servers didn’t say or do anything and left as well, so we had to wait for our main server to return to notify her and replace the sandwich. the chicken sandwich ended up not even tasting like a blackened chicken sandwich, it was just boiled chicken with cajun sauce on top. my new york sandwich however was very good, so i would recommend getting it. truffle fries was a miss on top of them being extra 4$ as an add on. our main server was super nice and kind!!! tldr: girls passing out the dishes weren’t helpful or kind, our main server was the best, blackened chicken sandwich isnt blackened but just boiled chicken, and ny steak sandwich is recommended! they also dont manually add gratuity tip for groups of people, but we tipped our server nonetheless!

I worked at Lou’s for about three months as a hostess, and during my probationary period, I resigned after a better opportunity came up. Admittedly, it may not have been the best timing, as I handed in my resignation the same day as my PM shift. However, instead of handling it professionally, the main manager, Alexa, took it personally rather than as a business decision.

Long story short—she bar-banned me. She initially told me I was “barred,” but when I later returned to pick up my money, she twisted her words, saying, “I never said you were banned, I said we just cannot serve someone who leaves on these kinds of terms.” She also told me she “doesn’t want anyone on bad terms to come back, get drunk, and cause problems.” That comment was particularly offensive, as I carry myself with far more class than she seems to assume.

Alexa had always been somewhat rude and snobby to me, even though she was the one who interviewed me. Regardless, I moved on. My friends (a party of 12) made a reservation on the patio tonight, and before I even had the chance to sit down and greet my group, another manager approached me and told me I needed to leave. I later explained that I was simply there to enjoy a meal, had no intention or reason to cause any issues, and would have happily left the waitress a generous tip. In fact, my table was about to spend nearly $1,000 on dinner—yet I was still refused service. As a result, my entire party chose to leave.

To be clear, my friends didn’t have to go; they made that decision based on what they felt was a distasteful act by the management team. The only reason I was considered to have “left on bad terms” was because I handed in my resignation letter before my shift, even though there were 3 other girls on the schedule that night. Alexa told me that me quitting “says more about me than it does them” and that she had to bar me because I was “letting the team down.”

I’m extremely disappointed and honestly speechless at how Alexa and the management team handled the situation, and how they are more concerned about holding a grudge rather than accepting my service and money as a happy paying customer. The food is great, and the servers are kind and hardworking, but that side of the management team (Alexa) needs a serious...

It was my girlfriend's birthday march 20th and I was taking her out for a belated birthday lunch April,11th. She said that she had been to a place along the train tracks, but she couldn't remember how to get there. but that is what she wanted for her birthday, was for us to find this place. It took us about an hour and a 1/2 driving around trying to find it. Well let me tell you it was worth the drive. We both had the steak and prawns for Lunch with deep fried potatoes. The food was so amazing the waitress was absolutely fantastic, that I had to order Lobster Mac and cheese to take home to my partner. Keep in mind when they brought it to me I asked them to add more of the cheese sauce as my partner really loves a creamy pasta She did not even hesitated she agreed it needed more she went back and got it. My partner had to work on the island today and then drive all the way back to Chilliwack when he came home To the lobster Mac and cheese he was Very pleased but after eating it, It changed his whole day... He couldn't believe how amazing it was. Yes the prices were high but the food is exquisite. And the young girl that served us was amazing, she checked on us often, she made sure that everything was perfect. Write down to the dessert the cheesecake with In house whip cream and yummy raspberry sauce was Delicious....I would definitely recommend this restaurant to the point to where I am gonna post this on my Facebook. I don't normally do a lot of these Reviews I think in my 57 years I've might have done 3 or 4 Google reviews and I only ever do them if it is good Or the service I received is Amazing. I recommend sitting outside As the fire display and ceiling heaters will keep you toasty warm. Thank you lou's grill for a wonderful afternoon. Not only did you make my girlfriend's beleted birthday lunch amazing , it was wonderful for me as well to enjoy your atmosphere ,your food and your wonderful girl who served our tables. Cheers I wish you many years of prosperous business. I will...

Been here 2 times since no longer employed by the company since the food is quite enjoyable and the atmosphere is unique and exciting. The first time I went was for a friends birthday party and I had showed up a little later then everyone else. The server came and asked if I would like anything to drink and I replied with asking for a glass of water. I waited 20 minutes if not more for just a glass of water when it was a slow night for the staff and they stood around the bar and chatted with one another. It should NOT take that long especially on a slow night to grab a water for somebody. As far as I know when I parted ways with the company I left on good terms with everyone who worked there so I don't understand why I received such poor service. Today brings me to my second time coming to the restaurant with my boyfriend. I was very excited for him to try the food because I really had enjoyed a lot of everything from the menu, as well he's not from the area to only have the result of disappointment and frustration leaving once again after being there for over half an hour and all we got served was our drinks while the table of 2 next to us ordered their food, got their appies, and received their main meal all within the span of my boyfriend and I sitting there for over half an hour. After sitting for 45ish minutes one of the managers on duty who was serving us finally had asked us if we were ready to order. Annoyed, I replied with asking for the bill since I wasn't willing to wait much longer for the appies that we were planning to order and the main meal as well. It took a bit as well for us to pay when sitting at the table with the bill.

I understand that it's a Friday night and it's one of the busier days of the week, but everytime before I worked here I got exceptional service.

Extremely dissatisfied and disappointed in the service especially as an 'ex' employee I expected a bit more...
