Let me start off by saying, the vibe the place and staff create is extremely pleasant and is the reason why I find myself coming back. However there’s some negatives. First off, unfortunately the food isn’t the greatest, the meat tends to not have much flavour and ends up being sort of bland. They have an awesome selection of pop and anything you can wish to drink. Staff is extremely nice to all their guests. The decor of the place is extremely nice as they have a lot of different art and other decorations around, as well as Jenga blocks to play with at each table, as well as stuff to colour for the kids. Great place to relax and have great conversations with your friends and family. It’s on the corner of the main downtown intersection and has a view from glass that spans almost the whole front and right side of the building giving you great views of how pretty downtown Abbotsford is. Overall I would love to give this place a 5 star but the food could just be a little bit better.

Not my cup of tea. Brgr brgr is something between a fast food place and a bar, but I wouldn't go here for either experience. You order at the front like Mcdonalds, but pay table service prices. A burger combo was $18. Root fries were undercooked and regular fries were overcooked. We waited about 15-20 minutes for two combos. Food certainly wasn't anything special for the price. Pretty sure those are kraft slices on the burger. There are vegan and gf options though, which is nice. The vegan burger was better than the regular burger. Service was about standard for places downtown. Atmosphere was nice, but the blaring music was too loud for covid restrictions. Seemed clean inside. Overall, nothing special given the price. Probably wouldn't go back unless I was with vegan/gf friends.

Super delicious food! It is pricey, but you're paying for local and fresh food đŸ„° perfect for keeping the money in the valley Well-informed staff answered a bunch of my questions. STOKED I have a breaded chicken burger I can eat (I'm gluten-free) that I don't have to make myself. The chicken burger is absolutely amazing. Love the slaw on it; it keeps it from being too dry. My favorite thing I've ever had here was their feature burger they had back in March (the korean chicken burger). If you go, you definitely have to try the chicken strips. To die for! I tried the fish burger as well as the chicken club. They weren't bad, just didn't get what I expected from them. The club was a bit drier, could use more sauce, but the flavors are still there! I'm definitely going here again!

Edit to add I would love if you brought back the Impossible burger. The beyond burger is just yuck and your new bean burger is rather disappointing as far as plant burgers go. It’s so mushy and it needs more substance like a nut additive or something. The hardest part about finding a good home made plant burger is finding one with a good binding agent, without eggs they’re often mushy. For me the patty needs more texture. It just really feels like a thick bean spread more than a patty, similar to times I’ve made my own burgers from recipes online and been disappointed with the outcome. I loved the old burger with the Impossible burger but I am so sad that it has been changed :( it really set you aside from the other local places where you can get a variety of these burgers but none like yours complete with condiments and cheese

I usually avoid ordering burgers when eating out because they are for the most part, always overpriced and always underwhelming. That was not the case tonight at BRGR BRGR. I am vegan so, for one, its nice that they not only have options, but GOOD options. 2 kinds of patties (Impossible and Beyond), vegan cheese, really good NOT dry or hard vegan buns, and they make a vegan version of their burger sauce which is much appreciated. Most places have no vegan cheese option, sometimes they have no bun choices so you have to get a lettuce wrap, and many have no mayo type spread for the burger and these things are what make a good burger! It was honestly the most delicious burger I have ever had, vegan or not. I don’t know what they did to this Impossible burger but it beats every other place that has them or the Beyond burger by a million. Also ordered a side of fries, my boyfriend got a burger that was on special, and onion rings. The fries were super crispy and tasty, the onion rings and burger he liked just as much as I did mine. Really was worth the price to us honestly, and it’s not like it was more than you would pay at any other sit down restaurant. We will definitely be back! ..... Also want to throw out a suggestion and let management know if you ever wanted to put a vegan chikn burger and onion rings or caesar salad on your menu you’d have my...

I have given it my all to have Brgr Brgr on my favourite local eats lists. On multiple occasions I have gone in to try and convince myself that I was maybe being a little too critical of the new restaurant, but every single time I have gone in to eat there has been something that ruined my experience. The first time I went in, I ordered a Brgr and a beer. After waiting something like 40 minutes, I got my Brgr. But no beer. I had to go up 3 separate occasions before finally getting my beer, long after I was done eating. I was not expecting to be sitting in a burger joint for almost an hour and a half. My second experience was even worse. My fiancĂ©e and I decided to give it another try, getting a Brgr each and one side of fries, no drinks. We then watched a group of roughly 10 you g guys order after us, one at a time, and they all got their food before us, leaving the two of us waiting 40 minutes once again for food. Awful second impression and redeeming moment . Finally after months of not eating there, my fiancĂ©e and gave them one more chance. It was dead, we were the only customers in the place. We ordered our food , took it to go so the girls working wouldn’t have to wipe down more tables. Two brgrs and fries. Of course, our patties were burned. Not a single other customer and they couldn’t focus on making our brgrs. The chances of us going back there are very slim. To summarize how I feel about Brgr Brgr: -Overpriced (It’s like $50 for two people’s combos) -Poor service, aside from the girls working who are nice -The Brgr patties have a bite to them, I like a bite, but not everyone does. Just be sure yours isn’t burned. Being someone who is quite connected with the Abbotsford community and constantly supporting local businesses, it saddens me have to write a review like this. Maybe they’ll get it together in another year.

Drop those absurd prices Prioritize your customers properly Pay attention to the food you’re putting out Lastly, change my...

I’ve heard great things about this place, so the Mrs and I decided to pop in and see what all the hub-hub is all about. The atmosphere is great. Lots of light and seating. I’m looking forward to sitting on the patio this summer.

After our first bites, you notice the difference right away. Hand pressed patties, fresh ingredients, homemade gravy, “It’s Gold Jerry!!”. The wife’s first comment: the burgers don’t leave you with that heavy feeling.

We got the beef burger and the smokehouse burger with a poutine to share. The burgers taste great with a bit of heat coming from the homemade rub they add.

The critical part in me says the gravy could use a tad more salt as it was “almost there” for the poutine. The curds were bang on, but the gravy kinda let ‘em down. Whether it’s a beef base or veggie base, they offer gluten-free, Veggie and Vegan option “BRGRs” that cover everyone’s palette.

The other critical comment was dessert. I was so looking forward to the WFFL WFFL (waffle). ‘Birchwood Dairy Soft Serve Vanilla Ice Cream with chunks of Belgian Waffle and Drizzled with Salted Black Porter Caramel Saus’
 sounds amazing
everything was on point except the waffle chunks were totally undercooked. Even though they looked toasted, They were still doughy inside and bitter tasting. Now is that supposed to be like that? Or were the waffles rushed a bit in the cook??? All I know is that I couldn’t finish my dessert no matter how much of that amazing ice cream and caramel sauce I tried to drown it with.

Speaking of drowning
. The beers on tap were fabulous. A fine selection from local microbrews makes everything better. My tummy was...
