Vegetarian beware!!! My Family used to love this restaurant for their great food and atmosphere, however after our last experience we will never be returning to this establishment again. We placed an order for takeout for 4 dishes and a veggie pizza, during our order we confirmed with the server that all dishes are vegetarian as my family is religious and does not eat meat, the server re ensured us that the vegetarian section is all veggie. Upon reviewing our meals at home we noticed two of the dishes did not look or taste the same as we previously have ordered, however it was still veggie and we did not voice our concerns. While eating our 4 cheese tortellini we noticed a huge piece of chicken, frustrated we called the restaurant back were we were greeted by an incompetent server who giggled and placed us on hold. Once I voiced my frustration and got a hold of the shift lead, the shift lead apologized for the inconvenience, however there was noticeable giggling and mocking heard over the phone. I voiced my frustrations not only of the tarnished dish but how the other two dishes were not what we ordered, the shift lead stated the chief is confident that he made the “proper order”, remind you the same “proper order” that included a 4 cheese tortellini with a giant piece of chicken within it … The shift lead offered a free 4 cheese tortellini dish and $5 back for the incorrect dishes ($10), please note I had also given a tip upon receiving my takeout order that was not mentions for refund. Personally speaking if I ordered any product and if it is not what I ordered I should receive a full credit or the product I actually ordered. I advised the shift lead to have the Manager to call me back as I was not happy with solution provided, it has been 2 business days without any form of communication from this establishment. The staff working within this location are rude and immature as they were giggling within...
Read moreI visited this restaurant on February 15 to celebrate my brother's birthday. We were a table of 6. When I walked in the door the 2 hostesses, both young females, ignored me for at least 4 minutes even though I was the only one standing there. I had to finally approach them to get them to look up from the reservation book. I get that it was going to be a busy Thursday night, the day after Valentine's Day but it's still important to at least acknowledge every guest as they come in. Once seated, my brother and his gf were already there and had drinks. Nobody touched our table for at least 15 more minutes even though the restaurant was only 40% full. Finally after 25 minutes of being seated I had a beverage. When we finally got our meals we had been sitting there for one hour and 45 minutes. My partner and I thought we would share a pizza but what they put down in front of us was a very dry looking piece of the same bread you get in the basket, with a few overcooked pieces of meat on it. We immediately said thanks but no thanks and sent it back. They offered to make another one but we declined based on how long it took to get the first one. So my partner and I did not eat. The other 4 meals looked at least edible and they seemed to enjoy them, hence the 2 stars. The problem with restaurants like these is the ridiculously large menu, I counted 141 items on the first 4 pages, not including the last page I'm guessing they have around 180 items. No kitchen can produce that kind of selection and keep it fresh or efficient. Cut the items down by 80% and quality & timing would improve dramatically. Lastly, our bread basket was lined with coffee filters, I'm still trying to wrap my head around that one! Sorry Paliottis, I know it's tough in the restaurant business these days but.. there are many things you could easily do to improve. It's also tough for consumers and I choose very carefully where I will spend my...
Read moreWe came here to celebrate a birthday, and unfortunately, the experience was abysmal from start to finish. From the arrival time, we were not ushered to iur table but rather told where to find out table... Our server was extremely rude and dismissive. When we asked if the restaurant did anything special for birthdays, she bluntly said no. When we asked if they would at least sing “Happy Birthday,” her response was, “I’m not singing.” Only after asking another server did we find out they actually offered a free birthday dessert — which our server never mentioned. Service throughout the meal was painfully slow. We waited a very long time just to order drinks, appetizers, and food. Our drinks arrived at the same time as our appetizers. Water was only served once at the start of the meal, and we were never offered refills. To make matters worse, they completely forgot the child’s meal at our table. The child's meal was supposedly entered into the system, but the kitchen never made it. The child ended up watching everyone else eat and only received their food when the rest of us had already finished eating. The food itself was mediocre at best — overseasoned and poorly prepared. My dish was supposed to have a rosé sauce, but it was just plain marinara. When dessert time came, we weren’t even given a menu or offered coffee or refills. The desserts clearly weren’t made in-house — dry, bland, and served in plastic cups. Finally, when the bill arrived, there were errors — we were overcharged for drinks we never ordered. Our server had disappeared for most of the meal, and we actually had to go find her just to pay. Overall, both the food and service were terrible. This restaurant completely failed to deliver a basic dining experience, let alone a birthday celebration. I will not be returning and do not...
