The food was great. However, our server, Kelsey, repeatedly made us feel unwelcomed by showing her frustration and by being extremely disrespectful.
We were at the park nearby playing California kickball and my husband and I told everyone we will be eating at Station if anyone wants to join. As we were seated, 4 other families showed up. The servers expressed that we did not have a reservation for such a large group but they can still seat us.
After we placed our orders Kelsey repeatedly showed her frustration and kept telling us that we should not be showing up places with such large groups unannounced and she did not believe us that these dinner plans were made spontaneously. She told us that what we are doing is not fair to them.
IMO the establishment should have just told us this is too large of a group and they are too understaffed to accommodate. Or atleast tell us that she is feeling overwhelmed and to bare with her (aka she could have been kind to us and we totally would have understood). She didn’t have to argue with us or be so rude. We debated getting up leaving as we clearly were not welcomed but we had already put our orders in and we didn’t want to do that to the kitchen. Although, we do wish we left as it was ironic how she became rude and argumentative AFTER we placed our orders and AFTER she told us there would be an automatic gratuity (she also did an automatic gratuity of 20%).
We appreciate the senior server trying to apologize for this at the end. But the establishment should really enforce “reservation only for large groups” if they can’t handle 5 families coming in at once rather than treating us like a huge inconvenience.
All in all, the kitchen was great. I ordered the Caesar wrap and my son ordered the quesadillas and both...
Read moreIf I can give this place zero stars I would… we used to come here all the time and the last couple times Its been awful. I asked if there was a new owners but there isn’t. First off we arrive and they are out of ice tea after we ordered it then they let us know by you saying sorry we are out… I understand things happen so it wasn’t a huge deal even though we don’t like Coke products. Then we order the appy platter and Clubhouse sandwich to share. The clubhouse was barely toasted but was just OK. The onion rings were the best part of the whole meal The honey garlic chicken wings or a very strange sauce they put on that did not taste like Honey garlic. The end house ranch they make was very obvious it was homemade because it tasted like dill with a strange texture. I even mention to the waitress that it must be made in house because it doesn’t taste anything like Ranch. Now for the cheese dip spinach crab artichoke, no flavour tasted like a few spices only. Finally the dessert… I phoned to make sure they had their Mars bar dessert, she said yes. After eating that horrible food I was looking forward to a delicious Mars bar dessert, we ordered it and 10 minutes later approximately if she comes back and says sorry we were out of Mars bars… I said great we phone down to make sure you guys still had that and she said we do but it’s very popular so we are sold out. If it’s that popular why wouldn’t they run to the dollar store that’s a block away and grab a pile of mars bars… It’s not rocket science. Anyways the waitress took six dollars off the bill for the inconvenience. 🙄. We won’t...

Food: Great food and great ideas but sometimes gets lost in the flavours. More often than not things don't taste quote the same but ingredients are fresh for sure as they buy from the local Hamilton Farm's. Wednesday Wings are 3.99$ & 4.99$ for 1LB.
Service: Seat yourself and enjoy yourself. If you need something just need to make yourself known and that works for some but not everyone. Expect some rude comments at times, also a lack of utensils for eating is very common usually need to ask a couple times. Also expect some time to pass before you get to pay. Service is definitely a lack, not sure if because of lack of supervision or because staff is young.
Prices: I'd say depending on if you drink or not the average bill for me and my fiancée for a night when we drink is about 40 to 80$ and a night we don't drink 30 to 50$ Not necessarily too expensive but I wouldn't bring my family out for a dinner out.
This place has a 18+ Side and allows smoking outside on balcony. There is a bar which is usually packed and full of life. Pool table and a whole bunch of tv's everywhere. Does get pretty rowdy.
In general this place is a good hangout with buddies but not so much a date night kinda place. It goes without saying that this is a very popular spot in Aldergrove/West Abbotsford so the later you go the...
