Delicious diner. Tucked away in an industrial area, we were expecting a typical greasy spoon diner but we were pleasantly surprised by the good food. They serve breakfast all day so of course we had to order something from the breakfast menu. We ordered their special, pork belly breakfast with eggs, hashbrowns, and toast and a grilled Reuben with fries. The pork belly was a nice slab of meat and the fat was firm and tasty. It had a nice glaze on it too. We had the option of shredded or chunky hash browns so we chose chunky. The grilled Reuben had Swiss cheese and sauerkraut on marbled rye, also very tasty. The service was prompt, friendly, and attentive. We never had to ask for water refills as they just did so. Tony's Place is also very clean, including the washrooms which is not typical for most diners. We will definitely be back but note that while they are open 24/7, their hours are from 7 am to 4 pm.

The is Abbotsfords's best/ worst kept secret for breakfast and lunch. It's an old school truck stop like diner that the server knows everyone by name as they walk in. The tables are clean and you pick where you want to sit. I have not been in here for a while because I am always on my way to pick up a sandwich from a couple doors down. I wanted an eggs benny and was reminded what a real one is supposed to taste! I cannot believe some 🤡 posted a bad review about theirs!! 🤦♂️so I am here to defend them. My eggs were cooked to absolute perfection after I was asked how I like them and will post a before and after pic of my breakfast. This place will definitely be back to the top of my rotation for close by spots to eat! I will definitely try the seafood benny next. Update **** the seafood benny says comes with crab meat, but it's artificial crab! 👎****

Probably the worst diner I have ever been to service-wise. It took us two hours to get in and out. The waiter served everyone around us and then realized she had forgotten about us. She apologized for the confusion, which was nice, saying sorry about five times, so we thought that would be the end of it. However, the bad service continued. She came to our table a total of three times over the course of two hours—once for drinks, once to take our food order, and once to bring our food. All of this was late. She never asked if we wanted a coffee refill or brought us any condiments. We noticed that we were being served less frequently compared to everyone else at the establishment. We’re not sure if this was due to racism or if they were just busy and we were biased, but it felt like we were dealing with the most soulless waitress I have ever met. After nearly two hours at the restaurant, no one came to give us the bill. I had to walk up to the owner and request it myself. On a side note: I would recommend coming prepared to this restaurant. Bring a tent, some food (in case they forget about you), water (to stay hydrated), and maybe a bell so you can get the staff's attention. In case the restaurant closes before you get your order, I would also suggest bringing firewood to start a fire.

Not what it used to be. Pathetic breakfast for an insane price, but I’ll get to the food in a minute. To start off the waitress knew nothing about the menu and when asked for a kids menu she apologized and told us they have no idea where it is and she’s not sure what is on it… My gluten free sister in law asked about the hollandaise sauce and neither the waitress nor anyone else in the kitchen knew whether there was gluten in it or anything else for that matter… Had no idea about gluten in the cubed hashbrowns either. What’s the point in having gluten free bread if you have no clue of the gluten content in anything else. Ok, and now the food. The pancakes were tough and a bit crunchy, reminded me of toaster pancakes. The hashbrowns were unsalted and unseasoned and flavourless. Through some green onions on them to fancy them up 😂 Bacon was so thin I could almost see through it. Terrible draft where we were sitting, even when the door was closed. Coffee was good.

Tony Place is a good restaurant for both breakfast, brunch or lunch. The establishment was pretty big for a cafe and I got a table right away. I had the Tony's Hungry Man Breakfast, which I overall enjoyed. The sourdough toast was thick, fluffy and tasty. The bacon and sausage were fine, while the slice of black forest ham was succulent. The scrambled were good and they give you generous portion of hashbrowns. The coffee was good, although it could be better. I really liked the service and the workers really show their appreciation to the customers. Tony's Place is not that hard to find either, so I will definitely be coming back there to eat.

We stopped in for breakfast. It is a nice diner, friendly staff. The coffee is freshly brewed. Homemade bread and pies available. Our eggs and bacon, sausage, French toast and toast were good. The hashbrowns were lightly browned on the outside, they are shredded and they give a great deal. I hoped they would've been browned more on the inside. We enjoyed the green onion added. Overall I gave 5 stars because it was a tasty breakfast N the homemade multigrain toast was delicious. Perhaps next time we go, I will ask to have my hashbrowns extra crispy. Go here you will not be disappointed, I'm a chef N always looking for a good place to eat.
