First time going to this place and the food did not disappoint. We ordered 3 butter chicken, rice, 8 garlic naan, gol gappa and a mango shake for take out. It was ~$119 after tax. Everything was packaged good. The butter chicken was medium hot and not that spicy to me at all but still creamy and delicious. The gol gappa were amazing with plenty of potatoes/onions/chickpeas also came with chutney as well and 8 pieces which is more than other Indian restaurants. The water was spicy but nothing overbearing and was very tasty. Spice tolerance will of course vary person to person. Their garlic naan was good and their mango shake to me personally was vastly superior to other Indian restaurants. Its taste reminded me of the times I was a kid ordering mango shakes when we dined in at Raga back in the day.
Their service is friendly but to me it seems like they need to hire more staff. We called a few minutes after ordering to add one more garlic naan and when we came that extra naan was regular instead. It then took 10-15 minutes for them to get out one more garlic naan while the rest of the food was sitting on their counter getting cold. The two guys working there were definitely swamped as there were quite a bit of customers there at a time and they were having a hard time trying to help everyone simultaneously. They definitely need more support to avoid congestion for busy times as it should not take that long to get a single garlic naan out and on top of that we had yet to still pay as well.
Overall the food was great and definitely worth trying out. With more staff those service issues can...

Read moreOrdered and picked up food from this place on 10 Feb 2024, as it was one of family members birthday, so thought of ordering from a restaurant. Never tried this one before so ordered to explore. Once I picked up the order and it was very kindly confirmed at the counter while I was making the payment that what exactly my order was and everything as per the order receipt was in place. However when I reached home and opened one of order of chicken chowmin , I realised it was a vegetarian chowmin instead.
While I called at the restaurant to enquire about the same they acknowledged the error gracefully and gave me an option that they can deliver the replacement.I did received the replacement within few minutes along with a half litre pepsi pet bottle assuming it as service recovery.
But my main concern is that how did I end up receiving a vegetarian instead of a chicken chowmin.
There is no Matrix to track what order is going out to the customer?
How about if someone is ordering a vegetarian and getting non vegetarian, it's quite critical being an Indian restaurant I believe. Also not very happy about the quantity and taste of the food. Not going...
