I am so glad Ive found a Korean place out here. Coming from a Korean who misses real Korean food and dishes. I can’t review their sushi/Japanese food yet since I haven’t tried any but let me say their Korean dishes are spot on. First of all, their chicken— oh man, everyone should try this at least once in their life. Super crispy on the outside but melts in your mouth. I saw a review that said something about pink chicken but cooked chicken always has shades of pink -_- only chicken BREAST cooks completely white. I think they use chicken thighs which are way more flavourful and juicy. Anyways, the sauce and the perfectly fried chicken paired with the sweet and sour pickled radishes mm they really know how to do great Korean fried chicken here. That and beer? Match made in heaven. Two classic Korean dishes- spicy seafood noodle soup and black bean stir fry noodles were done so well. The soup wasn’t as spicy as I had asked for, im assuming because they probably don’t get that request very much- but the soup was deep, rich, and LOADED with seafood. My boyfriend got the black bean noodles and it was so goodd- I have had a lot and it was definitely among the top. Lastly the kimchi fried rice topped with flakes of dried seaweed was cooked perfectly. This dish can be quite heavy when made but the way they made it it just leaves u wanting more. I can see myself just getting that a lot even to go for a quick meal. Speaking of quick all the food came to the table in very good timing, prices are fair, cheaper than a lot of Korean places out there and I can only say I’m just greatful to have...

Me and my friends planned to have some dinner and we thought it would be a great idea to spend it in this restaurant. But it turned out to be the opposite. We went inside and there was this server who gave us the menu and asked (non-verbatim), "Are you from Philippines?" And we answered yes. Then she continued, "All filipinos don't give tip at all." We were speechless and we didn't interrupt her because we were trying to understand her point. She was trying to say that all filipinos who had been there never left any tip at all. And that the staff were complaining about it. "Go to fastfood like Mcdo or Burger King if you don't want to give tip." She added. "You know that there is 10% tip right?" And so on. We felt bad with the way she talked to us. So we decided to leave the place. And as we pass by the counter where she was she said, "Better. Better." Rude right? We left because we felt unwelcome and not because we didn't want to give tip. Anyway, we know it is customary to leave a tip, but at the same time it is not required. It is our choice as well. My friends and I give tip whenever we go out. And it was our very first time to visit this place. It was really horrible. She just made an impression that when you are filipino, you don't give tip at all. This is just plainly rude and very disappointing. Not all filipinos are like that. Maybe some or most,...
Read moreWe were out and about and decided to give this place a try as the reviews were pretty good. Let's just say that while I wasn't exactly disappointed, I wasn't impressed either.
The restaurant is a little run down and located in a strip mall that didn't feel very safe.
We ordered dolsot bibimbap, 2 dinner sets, fried chicken, cheese balls, jajang noodles and the fried Nori taco. The bibimbap was ok, just not flavorful. The jajang noodles was nice and generous. The 2 dinner sets were definitely value for money. The cheese balls and fried chicken were ok but I've had better ones elsewhere. The fried Nori taco was pretty good. That's the one thing you should try if you decide to give this place a go.
They were busy, so service was a little lacking. The posters stated that you'll get a 10% discount for the fried Nori taco on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays but we were not given the discount even though we went on a Thursday. The cheese balls were also supposed to be 50% off if you order the fried chicken and we were also not given the discount. We didn't bother to go back in and ask for the difference. So make sure you check your receipt...
