Subway — Restaurant in Ajax

As I walked into the store I noticed two people sitting. I’m not sure if they’ve ordered and don’t want to stand while the girl makes their subs but I figured they were there before me regardless. As I wait I’m watching the girl behind the counter making all these subs, she keeps running back and forth from some type of machine to the subs. However as I’m standing there I’m wondering how many subs did they two individuals order? She is making these subs as fast as she can, however ten minutes goes by and none of us have moved. As she finishes to wrap the last sub she then calls upon the two people waiting, I figured it was to pay, but no. All the subs she had made were for skip the dishes. At this time I’m thinking skip the line also!! Anyhow this is not the girls fault she made the two others their subs and then mine as well. However I must admit this was a very long wait for her to make all these subs while were in the store waiting, and She Is The Only One Working There, I get they don’t want to pay someone else to work but when skip or Uber eats etc... order 7, 8, 9 subs it really slows down the entire operation, while people in the store can only watch this process. This morning was my second time at this location after a trip to the doctor office … and both times I had a sub here, I couldn’t believe how fresh the bread and vegetables were, especially compared to a different Subway restaurant I normally eat at each day for lunch, which is closer to where I work. The staff were very polite and friendly both times I ate here too. I wanted to thank the staff for using fresh bread and vegetables because it does make a huge difference… I wish the Subway location I typically eat at each day for lunch used fresh bread and vegetables like this location. Horrible service. Didn't listen to a thing I said. I tried to communicate a little slower and louder just incase my comminication was the issue. I ordered 2 kids combos, she wrapped up both subs without asking what toppings?? Then I had to ask her to unwrap them so I could add toppings. She placed half of a half of cheese on the sub? Not sure why the entire half of peice of cheese could not have been used on the sub.. Anyways went to check out and asked if this was a combo. I said yes, was handed the 2 subs, 2 juice boxes, 2 apple slices with no bag.. She just walked away. I walked out with both kids with no plans to return to this location.
