Where do I start? (By the looks of other reviews, were not alone…yet nothing has been done to fix the problem) We arrived just before 4pm on Fathers Day…no one else was dining in at the time (restaurant side). It seemed like we were an inconvenience to the hostess upon our arrival. There were only 3 or 4 tables that were clean, the rest of the tables still had food, plates and drinks on them. The floors were covered in food, napkins etc… We ordered our drinks and about 10 minutes later we finally received them. After placing our order, there seems to be a kerfuffle with the kitchen staff and FOH staff. Dishes were thrown and voices were raised. We FINALLY got our food (after people who arrived after us got their orders)…half the order we got were incorrect, we had to ask for silverware and napkins, had to get up to find server for refills for our beverages. The food was warm (I’m being generous by calling it warm) the chicken fingers for our granddaughter were WAY over cooked, my husband asked for grilled chicken but received deep fried instead…we had no time to ask for another order properly made otherwise we would have. The server, as we were paying, asked how everything was and we told him how disappointed we were. He didn’t say a word. Im not sure what has happened as we have been there before and had great service and food. You can’t fix things if you don’t know the problems. Never have we had this bad of service or food at BP’s. Plus…no discount or anything to make us feel like we would be welcomed back. Thoroughly ...
Read moreI just got home from having dinner at Boston pizza Taber and I am so disappointed by my experience at this location. This particular restaurant does have a reputation for being a little slow and we went in knowing we would probably wait a while for our food. We sat down at our table at about 5pm and didn’t even place our order until 5:25. After we had ordered and finished our meal we didn’t get our bill until 6:30pm. Our drink sat empty for forty minutes and we seriously considered just getting up and leaving. The server (Mamun) told us that he was sorry for the slow service and that “this time of day is always so busy”. If you know it’s that busy there should be competent staff on shift to handle that service.
My personal opinion is that the kitchen staff are on their game and doing their best (the food when we did get it was delicious and we enjoyed what we ate) but the service staff need some serious help. There was a table next to us who hadn’t even ordered their food until just before we left. Guys. Come on now. Having worked in the service industry and first hand dealt with many a busy dinner service, you really need to streamline your approach to a busy service.
I would not recommend this location. I will not darken the door...
Read moreWorst BP experience I've had to date, meals took 40 minutes from time of placing order as we watched other diners come in after us and get their meals before us. Two of our party ordered just a bowl of the soup of the day and that took longer than the burgers and pasta that others in our party ordered - one would expect that the soup of the day would be ready to go in bulk quantities.
We actually got our order as we were getting up to leave because we were tired of the wait - the server noticed us about to leave. The blame for all of this I would place upon our server as she seemed quite disinterested in doing her job, some of our food had been sitting under heat lamps as we could see that area - the server wasn't busy but also wasn't doing her job.
The food was good but the service was undeniably horrible - BP management at this location would do themselves great service by either coaching this young lady or...
