Bulldog's Saloon — Restaurant in Alberta

I don't normally give poor reviews. But after this past Saturday, I feel that the review is necessary.

Sadly I came in with my partner and 2 kids, I understand things get busy, but we bought tickets in advance for CanAm Wrestling and even though we were originally given a seat away from the door. Our reserved seats were moved next to the entry, in the freezing cold and had to wear our winter gear while the cold air blasted us the entire time we were there. To top it off, the server went to every table on our section, except ours, I had to approach the bar to ask if the server was instructed not to go that table. Even the server didn't want to stand near the cold.

We couldn't even order food because the servers would not stop at our table. Due to this experience, my family and I will not be attending the Wrestling event there. We will be going to the CanAm wrestling show in Innisfail on Fridays going forward. We will happily support the Olds shows when they are no longer...

I’m extremely disappointed with the lack of customer care I experienced this evening. I called in a takeout order and clearly asked if it could be delivered and whether the order qualified for the dry ribs promotion. The waitress confirmed both, and I proceeded to place the order. She told me it would arrive in about 30 minutes.

Over an hour later, the pizza finally arrived — cold — and with no dry ribs included.

When I called back to ask about the missing item, the same waitress rudely told me that the dry ribs promotion wasn’t valid for delivery. At no point during the original call was that mentioned. Her attitude was dismissive and unprofessional, especially considering the confusion resulted from her own lack of communication. I likely would not have made the review had she been more professional on the phone, but she was incredibly rude for someone who made the error in the first...

I was here for the Grit show on the weekend and it was such a blast. The service was a little poor and we waited more than an hour for our food. When we ordered, the venue wasn't full yet either. I did see people who ordered AFTER me, also receive their food BEFORE me. I was told that they were short staffed in the kitchen. Once we DID get our food though, it was the best damn burger I have had in literal ages. But the wait definitely was long. It was also a pretty packed house by the end of it. All in all, I give them a 4 out of 5. If I was the owner/manager there and I had orders stacked on a short staff, I would absolutely be back there helping cook and stuff on top of maintaining the venue and it's patrons.
