We went there about a month ago with a bunch of friends looking for a decent breakfast. It was the only place open serving breakfast at that time (except Tims) and it had very high ratings. Overall, service and atmosphere are good BUT.... their food is a joke. I had a classic breakfast and ordered 2 extra portions of bacon, for me and my friend. Extra bacon was about $2.80. Then my food came with only 2 slices of bacon. I mentioned to the lady that I had ordered extra bacon for me and my friend, she said she had forgotten and asked me to pay, because apparently she didn't bill for extra bacon, so I paid, no problem. You should see my face when she came to our table again with extra bacon. 2 (two!) extra slices for $2.80. Wow. When my credit card statement arrived I realised I paid for that bacon twice for each of us, so she charged me twice for the bacon, my bill was 4x$2.80. Considering each of us had 2 slices extra, I paid $5.60 for each of us, $11.20 for 4 little slices of bacon. Seriously people, why would you even serve two slices of bacon? It's cheap, everyone loves it, but don't even offer extra bacon if you're going to serve 2 slices extra for $2.80. That's rather offensive, it says "we don't care about you, we just want your money so pay extra and get out". My friend started laughing, he was raised in Blairmore so he knew people in that restaurant. Just go to Tims next time, which btw I did, I was back at lost lemon camp last week but we all decided we wouldn't go to that...

We were in desperate need of a caffeine fix, so we decided to take a quick break and hunt down a good coffee spot. While chatting with someone at the ACE store, they enthusiastically recommended a nearby café that they swore by. We didn’t hesitate—both of us were running on fumes and craving something strong, hot, and comforting.

When we arrived, the vibe was cozy and welcoming. Two younger staff members greeted us with warm smiles and immediately apologized for being short-staffed that morning. Despite that, they were impressively efficient and attentive. They took the time to double-check our orders, especially mine, since I’m lactose intolerant. It was clear they genuinely cared about getting everything just right, which made the experience feel personal and thoughtful.

The drinks? Absolutely spot-on. Rich, smooth, and exactly what we needed to shake off the grogginess and get back into gear. We left feeling recharged, grateful, and already planning...

Awful terrible garbage service, ordered 7 meals 7 drinks. Only got 4 of our drinks and had to ask for the others. Upon asking we were treated rudely and and still took 10 minutes to get them. When finally our orders came only 5 of the 7 meals were brought out. After waiting 10 minutes for the rest to come nothing came. So we asked again, and treated rudely again they told us the waitress didn't put them in..... another half hour wait for the next two orders, and to finalize it all they forgot to charge us for one meal and we had to wait in a 10 minute to pay for a second time. Awful food, the very worst services I've ever received and rude ownership and employees. Save your money and time and go ANYWHERE ELSE. Oh ya and we also saw two other groups of people who had the exact...

This is your typical small town cafe atmosphere with breakfast/lunch/snack and coffee/tea place. Stones throw is cozy and filled with friendly employees. There are lots of spaces to sit (when they open for dine in again). Everything has an artsy feel and they sell/showcase local artist works. Their grilled cheese...made fresh and stringy, was a delicious comfort food to get. If they can get the basics of a grilled cheese down, im sure their other offerings would be reflected the same way. Meals are $6-8 and drinks are $2-5 (reasonable pricing).

This is the second time I've been here. The last time was a year ago. Last year, the coffee wasn't very good. No flavor and way too much sugar. This year, we wanted to try the food. It was overpriced, the potatoes were undercooked, the waffles on the egg benny were too thick and doughy, and the eggs tasted bland, I could have made this better at home. If you want to go sit somewhere with cute different chairs and friendly staff and waste your money on mediocre food, this is your place.
