Thai Express The Shops at Buffalo Run — Restaurant in Alberta

Decided that I didn't want any KFC, Subway, Dairy Queen or anything else at the Taza Plaza as I've tried all the food shops there, well almost, and decided on some Thai food. I decided to get the Monday special and boy am I glad that I did. The food was cooked right in front of me so that I could see what went in and I always love watching these being made up . The Monday special is the Singapore Pad Thai, chose the shrimp with it and also a veggie spring roll came with it. Cost a tiny bit over $15 bucks but hey... that's pretty much the standard price everywhere. I Will Definitely be going back to try other dishes later on. I've been to Kiribati Island off the Indonesian west coast and then to Bangkok, Thailand and this reminds me of some of the restaurants I've been to while vacationing there years ago. It's a 5 Star meal for me and no .. I wasn't starving, I just didn't feel like cooking for anyone let alone myself. Takeout, takeaway, take your time.......

I wrote a review previously when they first opened this location and wanted to add an update now as I decided to try it again to see if it improved and I am happy to say that the food was definitely better than before. It is now tasting similar to other locations I tried in the past. I will leave the original review below as well just as a reference for others to see that there is definite improvement. Original text : I absolutely love Thai Express and eat there often, but this was the first time that my food (pad sew) was not as expected - the chicken was tough and cubed instead of cut in thin strips and there was less gai lan in it than I've ever experienced before 😕. This is a new location and I was very excited to have it so close by. So I did a review on this place before and I needed to update it: The setting is immaculate. The service is supreme and top-tier The food is unreal! The first two points stayed the same for my original review but THE FOOD is now so tasty! Hands down it's the tastiest Thai Express I've ever ate in all of Alberta. Like legit really good and if you see this review please go in and let them cook you the best version of this food possible! The more people that come here the better and I would understand why more people would come because it's cooked so perfectly.
