Potpourri of Flavours — Restaurant in Altona

What a great place. I had the Sizzling Chicken Sisig (spelling ?), and flavourful is how I would describe it. Delicious. I am not very savvy regarding foods that aren’t meat and potatoes, or burgers and fries ( which they have too), so I’m hesitant to try new things. The young man suggested a serving of of rice with the meal, and it added to it wonderfully. My wife and I ate here for under $35, before tip. This is going to be a regular stop from now on. The most interesting restaurant in Altona. It certainly is a “Potpourri of Flavours”. The chef really understands where he is and knows his audience. Mixing common western dishes with typical Filipino cuisine on his eclectic menu, chef owner Jose is gently introducing Filipino dishes and flavours while making it easy to find something familiar for unadventurous eaters. Altona is seeing an increase in Filipinos to the community who must be glad to have a place to eat and gather. Potpourri of Flavours is such a great option in our small town! They have amazing breakfasts and you never wait long for your food. The chef here is amazing, and the staff is always friendly. For supper, I always get the Honey Garlic Chicken bowl with noodles instead of rice, and Pork Springrolls as an appetizer. The food is always hot and flavourful! Their homemade Red Iced Tea is delicious!
