Grizzly Food Shack — Restaurant in Area B (Thompson Headwaters)

Everyone driving through Blue River needs to stop here and have the Grizzly burger. It is that good.

Now, I consider myself something of a burger connoisseur, and take my burger eating very seriously. I'd seen reviews of this place before our trip, and knew it was somewhere I had to try...I was not disappointed, the Grizzly Burger is the king of burgers!

I didn't even know that pretzel buns were a thing but oh my, how good it was. Then you have the patty...big juicy, perfectly cooked with the right about or herbs and bit of heat to it. WOW. And the toppings...we're talking mushrooms, avocado, cheese, tomatoes, lettuce, cucumber, mayo...fine ingredients prepared to perfection. Simply put, everything comes together to create a mouth-wateringly good burger than any serious burger fan needs to try.

This was my first time eating here, and it was absolutely amazing!! The food was sooooo good, I had the chicken club wrap and the Newfie poutine (it has stuffing and Cranberry on it) highly recommend! My boyfriend had the Grizzly burger and the Grizzly poutine, which were both super tasty as well. The burger meat is so yummy, I don't even know how to explain how flavorful it is! And although it's fairly expensive, it's worth it with how much food you get and the quality!

One thing to know before eating here though is to be prepared to wait. There was just one lady running the entire food shack and she did great!! But of course with how busy it was, it could take up to 40 mins to order and then receive your food. I just hope people stay patient and be respectful, she is definitely trying her best and I made sure to tip her as well as I could! The food is well...

Nice location just off the highway in Blue River on the same side as the hotel. Has some picnic tables out front with umbrellas but we were in a hurry so we took our meal to go.

We had a cheese burger and the special burger (can’t remember the name but had avocado and onion ring in it). The taste of the beef is superb! If we come again though I’d just get a cheese burger so the special burg was hard to eat plus the star of the show here is that beef patty!! The side orders are huge so beware. We ordered onion rings AND fries. For two ppl u only need to order one side. The burgs could use a little more sauce as well like more mayo or even add ketchup. We...
