Dear Out Bound Burgers Management,
I am writing this letter to express my deep disappointment and frustration regarding your decision to close your establishment on Tuesdays. As a loyal customer and a burger enthusiast, I cannot emphasize enough how this decision has negatively impacted my dining experience and overall perception of your brand.
First and foremost, Tuesdays are often the days when I have the most free time to indulge in a delicious burger. It is incredibly frustrating to plan a visit to Out Bound Burgers, only to find out that you are closed for the day. This not only wastes my time but also leaves me feeling let down and dissatisfied.
Furthermore, I find it hard to comprehend why a popular burger joint like Out Bound Burgers would choose to close on a weekday, especially when there is a high demand for your mouthwatering burgers. Tuesdays are not typically associated with closures in the food industry, and it is disheartening to see that you have chosen to deviate from the norm without any apparent valid reason.
I understand that every business has its own operational constraints and challenges. However, as a customer, I expect a certain level of consistency and reliability from establishments that I choose to patronize. By closing on Tuesdays, you are not only inconveniencing your loyal customers but also missing out on potential revenue opportunities.
I strongly urge you to reconsider your decision to close on Tuesdays. If there are legitimate reasons behind this closure, I kindly request that you communicate them to your customers in a transparent and timely manner. Additionally, I encourage you to explore alternative solutions, such as adjusting your operating hours or hiring additional staff, to ensure that your customers can enjoy your delectable burgers throughout the week.
In conclusion, I want to emphasize that my intention with this letter is not to attack or belittle your establishment. On the contrary, I am a passionate supporter of Out Bound Burgers and genuinely believe in the quality of your food. However, I cannot overlook the negative impact that your closure on Tuesdays has had on my dining experience and the overall perception of your brand. I hope that you will take my feedback into serious consideration and take the necessary steps to rectify this issue.
Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to seeing positive changes in the...
Read moreLOL at the OWNERS arguing with the many people that are saying this place is overpriced. Maybe open your ears and stop yapping and realize it's the truth and the food is way overpriced.
There is a few things not so great about here.
1.) No actual menu is available to look at, the items are written down on a stand up chalkboard with chalk that is difficult to see at best. I'm not sure I've ever seen a menu that hard to find, or that I've had to ask where it is. Meaning you have to go up to the cashier, ask her where it is and then go back to the board and try to find what you want. I would be curious to see how well this works when you get busy. 20 people hovering over small chalkboards. I literally stared at it for 3 minutes and still wasn't sure what the menu was when I went to order. It was annoying to me and I was the only person there at the time. It's possibly some sort of attempt to not openly display the higher prices, can't be sure.
2.) Which brings me to, the prices. I got one of their bigger burgers by itself and it came to $18. If i want fries that's around 23$. Heaven forbid I want a drink, that will be closer to $30. That's not cheap by any means, it's the about the exact same as a sit down restaurant like Earls or Moxie's. The burger was not that big, I believe I ate again in a few hours. No, it's not outrageous or unspeakable to charge this. But it better be worth it.
3.) I agree with a previous review, the burger really isn't anything special. It tasted like a backyard BBQ burger I could make as good or better at home. I find it somewhat comical that you guys claim to make "craft burgers," that's a new one that even Google hasn't heard of. it must mean it's better right?! I should pay more?! No such thing exists, or you're saying your beef comes from small batch cows?? Come on give me a break you have no grounds to call anything you make craft, unless you're breeding and butchering your own cows in the back. For $20 I was a bit disappointed
4.) I was the only one there. It took 15 minutes to get my order which was one burger. This is long. Fresh to order or not, it's on a transportation route where people are making it towards their destinations. I wouldn't want to stop here if it's busy, it will...
Read moreI’d heard some buzz about the smashburger at this place and decided to take a rip up the Sea-to-Sky highway on a beautiful sunny summer day.
First, the location is excellent for anyone heading north towards Squamish & Whistler. Hard to beat a fresh burger stand on the side of the road alongside such sweeping epic oceanfront mountain vistas. Surely location makes the burger and neighbouring coffee experience that much more yummy.
Next, the smashburger test. They offer a customize your base menu so I went with their OG and accepted the lettuce, tomato, onion, pickle, and house sauce option the server suggested. After about 5 minutes i received my burger. It wasn’t busy and there were a lot of staff inside so it must be the thicker patty style. More on that…
As a traditionalist, i require my smashburgers to be thin, crispy and juicy. Unfortunately, this version contained zero of these requirements. Let’s just call it a decent burger.
Excited as i always am to experience a new smashburger option, i gotta admit I was disappointed. The pickle punch was overwhelming and even after breaking the meat off to taste, it still tasted very little of beef-which is always the key. Additionally, the patty was too thick and the grind too tight, combine that with too little fat into their meat blend and you get one very dry burger.
Don’t get me wrong here folks-i’m not going to throw this burger outta bed as I still crushed it. That being said, it still needs some tweaking to please a picky smashburger purist like myself.
It’s a killer location and a really fantastic business model when considering it’s paired with a nice coffee bar located next door. (The iced mocha really made this meal).
With a clean, black&white minimalist modern yet approachable design still make this worth stopping in for, provided you can find a picnic table or don’t mind eating in your car.
Considering this is a new venture and in the perfect spot for those of us who love taking the scenic drive, i’ll bring trying again myself for sure.
