Without a doubt the best hidden gem in all of the Okanagan! I took my 92 year old parents here for their 73rd anniversary and we couldn't have picked a nicer spot. Staff was super friendly and the food was outstanding. My parents had the honey garlic wings and I have never heard them express how pleased they were with the food. My dad literally told me all the way back to Penticton ( 25 min) how much he loved the wings! The size, the texture, the flavour, the ... I'm GF and although they don't have a GF menu they were happy to provide options. Now my favorite breakfast item is eggs Benedict but the sauce here, unfortunately, uses wheat instead of multiple GF options. Our server, saw I was disappointed and asked what else I liked on the menu. I said the beef brisk looked good but it was a sandwich. He said, "The beef is excellent! I made it a few days ago and it is definitely GF ... How about I make you a scrambled egg with beef, mushrooms, peppers and onions!" It was FANTASTIC!!! My wife had the avocado egg on fresh bread which she said was simply the best!
We went home and literally called for take out as the Saturday Happy hour ( 3 - 5 pm on Saturdays only) was a pound of...

We had four coffees: one drip and three lattes. The lattes were just drip coffee topped with oat milk.
On top of that, we waited 20 minutes for coffees and 35...
Read moreWhat a lovely start to our morning! This place is such a nice addition to the OK falls downtown to enjoy a breakfast outside on the grass in the shade with our pup. The staff made it feel like we were family - so friendly!
The coffee was delicious! However the mugs had a bit of a dirty scent to them that was noticeable when the coffee cooled off a bit. I had a vegetarian Benedict that was pretty good but the avocado was clearly processed or from a bag which ruined the freshness. My husbands Benedict was just ok. Potatoes could be more crispy. Eggs were medium-almost hard.
Prices were decent and we were happy to pay these prices for what felt like a family run operation. If this was on our home city, would be a 3 star due to the food execution.
Out favourite part was the lush green grass and umbrellas making sitting out back very enjoyable. We hope to visit when we return next...
