A&W Canada — Restaurant in Arnprior

I will not be returning to the Arnprior location. A buddy took me thru the drive thru the smorning (April 13). I asked for a bacon and sausage egger, and a hashbrowns. I then notice as we were pulling up that she was charging me for 1 bacon eggers, and 1 sausage egger. When we got to the window I clarified with her that I only want 1 egger but with bacon. So then she said that she will fix it for me, but after like a min of her trying to figure it out she opened the window and told me, next time ask for a sausage egger and ask to add bacon to start with, which I assumed that she did fix my order, at this point. And handed the machine so that my buddy can tap my debit card, and then handed me my food. When I was already back at my buddies house, he asked me how much did it actually cost, to realize that I was still charged for 2 eggers and 1 hashrown which cost about 12.50. To say the least I am a little disappointed considering that ther in a mc2 mins down the road that I could of got pretty much the same order (mcmuffin instead of egger) for about $5 less, especially during these...

Shopped at this location twice this week. FIrst attempt was at 7:56 am on Saturday. I was told that they open at 8 so I went to McDonalds. I guess the owner doesn't want the morning coffee business. Next attempt was Sunday at 6:00 pm. I ordered two burgers but asked for lettuce and tomato on one of them. They proceeded to charge me extra for lettuce and tomato on a burger!! I told the clerk that if I ordered it on the app, I wouldn't be charged. She gave me a look like her hands were tied so I said "Cancel my order and I'll use the app" which I did and no extra charges. I will never go through the drive-thru again without advance ordering on the app. Also, AW stores are open for dine-in service in Toronto and Ottawa but not in Arnprior where there are no reported cases of Covid. This owner needs to get her act together.

Edit- One year later and I see this owner now has the app charging for the extras. I have not found another location that does this between Ottawa and Mississauga. I will never visit here again and will let others know that they are...

Restaurant was in Arnprior. The staff were friendly, younger and only a couple on shift. Food was very salty! There poutine is not regular beef gravy its chicken based. Not good at all. Had the buddy burger cruncher, it was very good. Simple chicken sandwitch. Nice and crunchy. Sweet potatoe fries were excellent. Hubby had nashville tennesee hot chicken sandwitch. Kids had moza burger, and buddy burgers. All were ok. Except the poutine one of the worst overly salty gravy I have ever tasted! Not recommend. Go somewhere else. And burgers were great! Stick to just fries. The place itself was very dirty, tables, chairs, floors and doors were all nasty. I would have expected more from a place serves people food! It doesn't ring sanitary for your guests. Would think it would be cleaned often since covid. And don't have ice machines for fountain drinks which we found strange.
