Update: The Prior food is incredible! Seems like they definitely found there way with takeout in the past 6 months. My family and I have become regulars and find nothing but quality. Best wings we have ever had (blows Wild Wing out of the water) and delivery has turned up its game too with quick service! The bartender and hostesses (only ever been able to meet with them at the pickup booth) but they are all great people! I will say, there suicide wings aren't very... Suicidal? You're better off getting hot it has the same bite with a better taste. Philly cheese, wraps, you name. It. We have had nothing that has been labeled as disappointing. A+ Sports bar! Once the pandemic is over, I'm looking forward to the in house experience and seeing how cold there taps are 😊

Will update review should I consider another attempt. Ordered delivery. Came twenty minutes after ETA. Cheese curds were burnt and dried out, I asked for Philly cheesesteak on wrap got panini. Not impressed. However, despite no wrap, cheesesteak was fantastic, onion rings and ceaser wrap great. Super inconsistent first try of this place as a new resident of arnprior.

Update!: gave the Prior another chance and had a good experience. My third chance was tonight. Ordered through the Valley Eats app. Food took an hour to be delivered, and they advertised queso sauce on there Philly cheesesteak. The second time they managed to nail the sandwiches. This third time, no sauce. I complained to Valleyeats, and they said the restaraunt, said that due to Covid Shortages, they are using a thinner sauce. It compltely changed the dynamic of the sub. Nowhere advertised did it state the change of ingredients, causing it to be super dry, and it was very disappointing. Unfirtunaly we spent $70 for a 2 person meal and were extremely dissatisfied with the restaraunt blaming the poor quality on Covid shortage, with no offer to rectify. 2 out of 3 orders from this restaurant have been dissappintint. I do not recommend this restaraunt as it is clearly over priced for the quality/consistency this palace constantly has delivered...

Honestly I’ve been a off and on regular to the prior sports bar for my whole time in Arnprior. Went in for wing night with family members. Got our food in very reasonable time since it was wing night. Then got to the end of the night to get take away boxes and pay where we were told from Now on if there is any leftover wings they are charging take away prices instead of half off. Then noticed I got charged for 3.5 lbs of wings when I only ordered 3 lbs and pretty sure I only got 3lbs. When I went to tell the server she said the kitchen told her they made 3.5lbs but she didn’t tell me. Told her how do I know I got 3.5lbs after I’ve already ate most of them. She then shocked me when she said alright I’ll Change the bill but we would like our wings back. At the point I’m dumb founded….. you want back the 5 wings that you gave me extra to throw out? She just went to the till to change the bill and brought back the new bill to walk away. Uhhh don’t want me to pay??? I had to flag down another person so I could pay the bill after waiting for her to not return to the table.

Honestly very dissappointed. Seems like the place has been going downhill fast ever since Kirk and robin left( the old owners). Had a bad experience a year or so ago when my work tried to go there for dinner but got told the server for the empty area wasn’t in yet. We’re like okay well can we at least sit down? She told us no. So we waited a bit and just left. Would think they wouldn’t want 12 or so people just standing at the front when there are empty tables? My work has never been back and has taken us to different resturants in town and actually...

For the first time in the many years we have been to The Prior, we left unhappy. Though the restaurant could use a bit of updating = please change the carpets lol = generally we have been very happy with both the service and the food served by The Prior. In the 20+ years of going, sure we have seen some changes. Portions have gotten a bit smaller, a little change in quality, but, nothing major. The mini-munchie platter was a Friday night staple during covid for us! Tonight though, we sat on the patio and changed things up a bit. Please keep in mind, the server was very good. My daughter ordered fish and chips = they were good. My wife and i split on the nachos with chicken. We requested no peppers, no black olives, but, a little extra cheese would be great lol. Well, we counter 6 only chips with cheese. The chicken was tasty, but, cold. The salsa was inedible = we scraped it off. And we counted 3 green onions. It has been about 3 months since we ordered from The Prior, and hope that tonight was just an off night. Please do not let this be the direction that an Arnprior institution is beginning to follow. I know first hand the effects of the past 2+ years has been on the service industry, but, destroying the quality to save a dollar is...
