I purchase two chicken breast with fries when I went to my destination and I eat the fries then I tasted the chicken and I had to spit it out the chicken tasted like it was spoiled and the inside the middle of the chicken was slimy and yellow. I brought it back and I tried to be discrete about it and the cashier look confused. I explained to her that the chicken tasted like the meat started to decay before it was cooked. She went and speak to her manager, when she came back she ask if I wanted a replacement meal I told her no I wanted back my money. I spoke to the manager on the phone and he refused to give me back my money, he asked me to come back at dinner hours to rectify the issue but he could not give me back my money, meanwhile trying to convince me to have a second meal which I refused. The manager also accused me of eating 85% of the food which was for from true because I had to spit the food out after the first bite. It took about 10 minutes of convincing in front of about a dozen customers for him to finally agree to give me back my money. I went to different Popeyes restaurant and I never had an issue, I also went to this restaurant before with out any incident, I’m not sure if it is new management but I would not go back to this location. Read moreThe food tastes good due to the good recipe from the parent xompany. HOWEVER....Extremely bad service particularly the store manager of this location. I would like to share with you my experience in details. When I presented a receipt with a promotional code written on it for a free piece of chicken with a purchase of a medium drink according to the instruction on the email after my last completed online survey, the manager rejected to honor it and harrassed me by saying that I also needed to present the email coming with the promotional code. However, there is no where in the receipt or the email stated this requirement. I as a customer followed the instructions; but the store manager cannot show any proof to support his stated requirement for showing the email. The most ridiculous thing is the manager asked me to buy another meal and then get a new receipt. Then I can redo the survey and get another promotional code through another email. Then I can get a free piece of chicken by showing him everything according to his requirement. Obviously, this manager stated his own rules in order to avoid to honor the corporate promotion through asking customer to make another purchase and complete another survey. Read moreStood in line for 7 minutes. During that time the lady in front of me was helped by the manager. When she finished ordering you would think they would invite me to the open cash... They didn't, stood there for a other few minutes and left.
The manager was more concerned with the the Uber eats and skip the dishes drivers who came every few minutes while I was in line. They were served the moment they came on, while I was still.waiting in line.
On a side note, the daily specials seem smaller on the day they are on special from past experience as others have mentioned here.
Overall just not worth the hassle, I seen the manager reply below and I find it hard to believe he asked someone to help me since he was the one helping people on the other cash (Uber eats and skip drivers) it is what it is though, read the other problem reviews and judge...
