Thai Villa — Restaurant in Aurora

I wanted to like this place because the staff/owners were really nice but this was probably the worst meal I have ever had. Bangkok rice was mediocre, good quantity of shrimp and chicken but a little bland. The crispy orange chicken however, was terrible.... we did not find any chicken at all. It was just breading and very tough. Perhaps it started out as chicken but after sitting all week had dried out .? Believe me, I am not exaggerating, it was inedible. My wife would not eat it or the satays as everything just seemed dried out. We ordered around 5pm so I suspect everything was leftovers from the lunch hour. I would expect that at a mall location but not a sit down restaurant. Will not be back. EDIT : Response to owners. I assure you it is a real factual review. Hopefully it was a one-time issue . Again, the staff seemed friendly so would like you to do well. Maybe double check the meals that go out. Not trying to be overly hurtfull just describing how bad the meal was. Maybe I will take your word and try something...

Had the lunch specials to go (pad Thai and orange chicken)..it looks nice and clean to sit down and eat there but we had a tight schedule so we ordered to go. The staff here is amazing so sweet and genuine however I wasn’t impressed or happy with the quality and taste of food..not sure if it’s because we took it to go but reading the other reviews I was excited to try this place. Pad Thai was just ok not sure if because it was the lunch special they skimp on the chicken and put more tofu (which I didn’t know was actually in this pad Thai until I noticed it) and my wife’s orange chicken just didn’t work it was dry with a thinker bitter orange sauce maybe they fried the chicken before and wait for orders to come in? It did not taste great when we got home (we live really close by). Overall it seems like the staff here is awesome, place is clean and maybe dining in will be your best...

Satay chicken? Where's the Satay sauce? 3 failed orders in a row over last month. 1st 2 orders neither my wife nor I had any Satay sauce when we got home with our take out order. Today we ordered again (I know crazy ) and I explicitly told them how our last 2 times ordering we did not get any Satay sauce. They wrote on my order "please peanut sauce". We arrived home and there was the smallest amount of sauce just covering the very bottom of the small container! Really, really. We use to go on almost a weekly basis. I think we are done with this place. Hope you have better luck. Also one of my chicken skewers was missing about 1/4 of the chicken. You could see it was broken off after the cook exposing the inside. Not sure where it went but it...
