Godfathers Pizza - Aylmer — Restaurant in Aylmer

I don’t know why Godfather’s changed the way they cook their crust. It was absolutely perfect before but now it’s almost giving a pan baked vibe with the slightly crispier more overcooked bottom. I’m not sure why this location has issues, my theory is the oven is too hot, but i noticed i would get blackened pizza. Last time I ordered I was really annoyed with how black it was so I asked them to remake it, and it looked exactly the same and I just didn’t even bother going back in because that was waste of my time. I assumed that it was the person working that day, but it wasn’t because today I ordered light baked and it was still blackened with a dark bottom. When you have picky, children inconsistency is very frustrating. Especially when the pizza itself is not very cheap. Lastly, it would be so nice if Godfathers could spring for fresh ingredients instead of canned.. at a different location the person told me that the only thing they have fresh is...

Not a great experience. First time ordering here after my new move to the area. I asked if they use bacon strips or crumble and was told strips and confirmed again before ordering. Delivery was going to be over an hour, that’s fine. When the food arrived the pizza had crumble on it. For $30 after the tip for a large pizza, you’d think that the restaurant would know the toppings they use and not mislead customers. Crumble is gross and changes the pizza to taste fake. Pizza was nothing special, so if you can’t get the toppings right then it’s not worth the price. Will not be ordering from here again. Sad, as I have game night every weekend and we order pizza. Too many young kids cooking and not enough good adult supervision here. Walked in an ordered a pizza. Said it would be 15-20 min. Waited. Another person walked in and ordered. He got his before mine was made. I sat longer just to see what would happen. I waited. Now 43 minutes. Another girl behind the counter asked if she could help me. I said yes she could.
