Great food, great portions, great prices. It's everything you want a diner to be! The fries are classic crispy, they them out! They also have classic style milkshakes, which are a favorite with my kids. If you like the liver and onions classic, I'm told that they do that well too. It's very outdated decor kinda did it actually. It completely is a classic diner; not a romanticized version, but a leftover gem from the diner era. I'd be confident to recommend anything... EXCEPT the Ruben Sandwich.... I wish I took a picture that one time I ordered it. My only gripe on this place would be they do a 'just ok' Ruben. You'll have it and your companions will say 'how was the Ruben?' and you'll say it was good, but probably the last on your top ten list for sure. It's not up to their normal standard.

First time here and will NEVER go back.  3 adults, ordered 3 meatloaf dinner. After waiting OVER 30 minutes, our server came over and said they didn't put the ticket in so it hadn't even been started yet and left. We waited ANOTHER 15 minutes and she again returned and after 45 mins waiting offered a small bowl of soup for the wait. Unfortunately they were only offering 2 different kinds and neither I liked. So the other 2 ladies had a small bowl of soup.  After about an hour our food finally arrived. We were presented with processed pressed meatloaf, a scoop of potatoes 1 piece of cauliflower, 1 piece of brocoli and 2 carrots. The food was inedible and we ended up packaging it all up to take home to the dog. We paid full price for everything and will never go back

My husband and I ordered takeout while we had family over and I was impressed with the food. The Ruby's burger was amazing, very large but one of the better burgers I've had. We ordered the nachos for an appetizer and also had them for dinner - I've never seen such a large portion of nachos! They were good, but definitely order that if you have a few people to share with. No complaints from anyone about their food, we found the quality to be great on everything. The smokehouse and the bacon and cheese burger were excellent. The wraps my family got were also complimented. Can't wait to try more items and have a chance to go in when things cool down a bit.

Had breakfast there this morning with my family of 5

Unfortunately they figured it was ok to serve food that was cooked and left over from a previous day (hopefully not from someone els's plate but who knows) very very disappointed to recieve this kind of treatment at a otherwise favorite local spot for breakfast. At first I thought maby my expectations were off but my wife immediately said the same thing, nothing was fresh.

The other issue we had I ordered eggs over easy, my wife and 2 kids ordered eggs over hard, When they brought everything out they were all done over easy, This part I can excuse for a misunderstanding but being served leftovers?

Come on, Seriously!?

Toast was dry, torn and burnt! they did their best to hide it too when presenting it to our table turning the sausage to try and hide the hard dried out parts, the broken burnt toast on the bottom of the plate, potatoes/home fries were dried out and barely warm!

The real shame about this is that the previous Saturday, being May 25 We were there as well, ordered the exact same thing and everything was spot on! Toast, sausage and eggs, everything was on the money, which "what do you know" was exactly what we ordered and paid for! And that is also the exact reason why we came back today the only difference being, today was really busy and last saturday it was reasonably quite.

Whatever the case I paid full price just like last Saturday, never once do I recall asking for a discount or being served leftovers, but yes unfortunately this is the last straw for me and my family.

I should mention the server was attentive and polite but yeah if your're gonna try and save a few bucks by serving leftovers and poor quality food that aint gonna bring in any repeat customers or tips for that...

After a few recommendations we decided to give this restaurant a try. We picked a busy lunchtime to give it a try. You know its busy when you walk in and there is such a din of voices that are all trying to shout over each other to carry on their conversations. And it isn't huge place. Please note that this is the only negative I have about this place. It is loud (no sound dampening?) when it is busy. Go at a quieter time if you want to have a conversation. Now for the good stuff. The servers are friendly and helpful. They will give you all the time you need to make your selections. But it might be a few minutes before they come back when it is busy. After ordering the food, it did not take long to come. My sandwich was so loaded I had to use a knife and fork to eat it. My salad (instead of fries) had to be one of the freshest I have ever had in a restaurant or at home. Everything was crisp and plentiful and very refreshing. As the restaurant emptied out the noise level fell and it became much more pleasant inside. The staff had more time to spend with the customers and were less rushed. There is a good selection of meal choices with lots of options. The food was good quality. Pricing, like everywhere else, has gone up. But worth it compared to some of the competition. We will definitely be here again. We will just pick a time before or...

Went to Ruby's last night for dinner. Got there at 6:00pm. we needed a table for 5 adults, waitress tells us we'll have to wait a bit. Then a short time later she tells us it'll be just a couple minutes. Wait, Wait, Wait and Wait, then she comes back and says a couple more minutes, they are just finishing up. After one full hour of waiting, we finally get a table. Then another waitress takes our order, we also ordered a spinach appetizer, it took a half hour till we got the appetizer. We finally get our food, I ordered the Fish Tacos, what a disappointment. The only thing that was barely warm of my food, was the tiny little pieces of Fish on my Tacos. The Tortillas were completely cold, like if they just took them out of a fridge. 2 hours of our time that we wasted. We are NOT going back to Ruby's anytime soon, if ever.... If they only have told us wait time is about an hour, we would've expected that, and come back another day... Oh the other thing I noticed, 4 people that came in after us, they had been waiting for at least 30 minutes, then 2 couples walk right by these 4 people and by us right to the counter and asked how long. They got the same word, it'll be just a couple minutes. Sure enough these 2 couples get a table in minutes. Very Very disrespectful for these 2 couples to cheat the line and act like...
