Asian One — Restaurant in Barrie

Great place to grab fast and affordable lunches (dinner options are good too). Been coming to this restaurant 6 months in a row and the food was always great. I was a fan of the General Tso chicken lunch option and it is priced amazingly. The only big downside for me of this place is the dine-in experience. As I said I been coming to this place for over 6 months and every time I needed to dine in the tables were extremely sticky which was not the greatest experience. I don’t think there was a time I was there and the tables were clean, they are always sticky and that is what stops me from dining in but take out still great! The last few times I also noticed the floor being sticky just like the table which to be honest doesn’t seem promising.

First time taste at this restaurant. It was food, but not really any outstanding flavour at all. No depth to the taste.

Wonton soup - no flavour to the broth at all. It tasted just above straight water. No pork pieces and not hardly any filling in the won tons.

I had a combo meal C4. Sesame chicken was the best part of my whole experience. Chicken wings and chicken fried rice. Egg roll was veggie only, packed with bean sprouts and not much else for flavour.

I wouldn't order from here again, based on my first taste experience.

It was food, but I could cook it better myself at home. If I go out for Chinese food, I expect it to be a better experience, then what I could do.

It has been a while since I have ordered from Asian One. did not take time to listen properly. I had to repeat myself more than once. This time I only required a meal for one so I chose to order a combination plate. I asked the lady on the phone about a certain dish that accompanied something I wanted. She told me something that seemed acceptable. What came was nothing like she explained. I called to ask about it once I was at home, and had to speak to 3 people before I spoke to someone who understood what I was asking. her attitude was less then acceptable.
