This place is funny. Delivery service is hit and miss, but the pizza is good, so we have been quietly tolerating the mediocrity (and always leaving the 15% tip at the moment of purchase). Sometimes they’re fast and amazing, sometimes they miss your order and you have no dinner - never mind, you have to adjust and live with what you can nowadays. Today though they beat all of their own records, so I feel like I have to leave the review at this point. - We always ask for contactless delivery, so depending on the driver, sometimes they knock, sometimes they ring the bell, but they always let you know when the pizza is here. Today we got a call from an unknown number, which we ignored due to the volume of spam, there was no voice mail, so we forgot about it and carried on with our night and waiting for the pizza; - 55 minutes into the waiting time husband was about to call the pizza place, and I said - maybe that was the pizza when someone called. We went on the porch, and sure enough, there was the pizza sitting there. - The pizza was on the porch for 13 minutes when we discovered it. Luckily, it feels like 34 degrees outside right now, so it didn’t get cold, but it did cool off. That’s fine we thought, it’s even better colder. But then, check out the video. “This place, they don’t cut the pizza, and they pass their savings on to you!”. 😂

We stopped by Pizzaville in Barrie during a road trip for a quick takeaway pizza. The pizza was okay for a fast food chain, satisfying our craving. However, there was a hiccup when the staff forgot to include our beverage. I reached out to their online customer service, and I was pleasantly surprised by their prompt response—they quickly processed a refund to my card.

When I am busy, this pizzeria is my guilty pleasure to serve myself some cheat meal. The sauce is really delicious to me, and that mix of baked calzone or piece of pizza provides mental calories to get back to work. I don’t have an image of it because it was really hot that I didn’t have time.

2nd time visiting this pizzaville so I thought this time I would leave a review. Not so much so for customers to read but more for management to read because I think reviews help a company be better. Pizzas are never fresh when entering the store. There's never many options and there's only a few pizzas left in the window. Usually when I come to this place this being the 2nd time it's around dinner time so there's no excuses on having fresh pizzas available for their customers. The woman working the front desk was very nice. I believe the problem with this place is management. I clearly see management has no skills on handling their staff and doesn't realize that their clients are not really happy with the service. Also one of the pizza makers and I believe probably the manager were arguing in the store about taking a certain pizza out. After leaving the store after eating our pizza they did not even stop to say thank you have a nice day instead they just continued arguing with each other. I get that sometimes there's a bad time once in a while but this is the 2nd time I visited only to see the same kind of result. I believe this store needs new management or management needs to read their negative reviews and create a...

I ordered a pick up special (1 topping large) for $9.99 - extra cheese, extra sauce, thick crust, well done.

Unfortunately they did not account for the thickness of the pie since well-done just ended up being medium. I shudder to think what it would have been like if I hadn't asked for well-done.

Next time I think I'll avoid the thick crust...although pizzaville has a nice chewy cheese and their sauce is nice for chain pizza restaurants (probably one of my favourites). I liked it. Unfortunately, "extra cheese" seemed like it was only one small notch above "regular cheese".

It's a chain restaurant, but I would have given them 4*'s if they had passed the thick crust well done test, which they didn't.

Staff was nice.

That being said, the pizza was otherwise totally fine and Pizzaville has a good choice of cheese, dough and sauce and I'd rank it near or at the top of all the pizza chains for price/quality. For $9.99 for a large with the thick crust that large pizza filled me up almost as much as two large pizzas at pizza pizza...
