COBS Bread — Restaurant in Barrie

I am going to chalk it up to they are still fairly new. However, When I went in I don't know if the store was half empty already or they just didn't have product out yet but it had already been an hour and a 1/2 since they opened. I went looking specifically for hot dog buns. They said they had some and they were just wrapping them so I said I would wait. I then was gonna get some sourdough bread but it was too warm to be sliced. They then proceeded to tell me that someone had already ordered and bought all the hotdog buns. I had specifically not bought from across the road, but now I had to go back. I will give them one more try. At least another market has just opened that I can get my sour...

We arrived, first time today, on a friend’s suggestion. We took in the wonderful baked bread smell, immediately on stepping inside. Mouth-watering selections awaited. Sweet. Savoury. We chose: iced blueberry lemon scones. Cheese pull-apart loaves. And…because it’s the season, and good Easter memories prompted: hot cross buns. Finally, a couple of spinach and feta croissants. While we’ve only begun to sample our wares (no…we didn’t make it all the way home! 🤣) I can attest this bakery makes mouth-watering delicious items! Photos below. Went here yesterday for a ham & cheese croissant, a spinach and feta croissant & a double chocolate scone. When I opened the door, the location was busy. Signage on where line begins to order with floor markings would be beneficial as multiple customers were confused where it started and who had already placed a order. Having a display table obstructing the line likely does not help either. The ham & cheese croissant was a hit, the spinach and feta one was not nearly as tasty. The double chocolate scone wasn't as decadent as I anticipated it to be. The croissant could be a little larger for the price of $4.15 each. I will be back to try...
