Terribly slow service . Waited in drive through for over 10 minutes . Finally ordered two orders of onion rings and asked why so slow , was ignorantly told “ you people need to just be patient “ Had to pull into a parking spot to wait another 10 minutes . Got my two orders of onion rings burnt . Contacted A&W to complain . Provided info on receipt and requested to be contacted . Two days later nobody has contacted me . So many reviews experienced the same issues . I guess nobody from head office reads this stuff . Stay away from this A&W location if you value your time . Ohhh and $11.00 for two burnt onion ring orders . UPDATE , Was contacted by location manager. She was very apologetic and wanted to make things right . During that conversation she indicated she would send us coupons to hopefully keep us as valued customers . Long story short , we received a very generous offer . We went back to this location abd and went into the restaurant to order . It was very busy and everyone was moving around to keep on top of the orders from the drive through . I got a different perspective that day and appreciate the effort put in to make it right . Would definitely help communicating with customers and being upfront if they’re short staffed . Just let people know and we...
Read moreI was there today around 905am and ordered two hashbrowns. After I paid, I was asked to pull a head (a few feet ahead), just past the window. It felt weird because there was no one else in the drive through at all and my car was still blocking the drive thru exit. Finally my food came out and I asked the young man, why I was asked to pull up just past the window and he told me because there is a timer on how long people are at the window and by pulling ahead, it would stop the timer. There was also one other person I saw parked that they brought food to at the same time. I feel I should report this as I imagine head office didn't install timers for the staff to try and trick them by asking customers to pull ahead 3 feet to improve window times. It was around 910 when I left if you want to look at where they made me pull up to. It was very weird as not single other person was in the drive through and my car was still blocking the exit. Before the kid told me it was timer related, it freaked me out like, why don't they want me at the window? Not impressed and that...
Read moreRaj made sure I was treated properly as I ordered my food rather slowly, to which I apologize for. He was patient as I scanned the menu for my next meal that of which I was eagerly looking forward to. My decision came up to Raj as I could not decide between the papa or mama burger; Raj recommended the papa burger as he could tell I was hungry, he was right.
As I pulled up to pay and get my food it crossed my mind how rare such a warm and welcoming fast food experience can be nowadays, which made my encounter with Raj all the more pleasurable. Raj's personality really came out to shine when it came time to hand him the money to pay and my clumsy-self dropped the change between the driver's seat. Once again Raj was not frustrated, in no rush, and even offered to help pay for the now-missing change himself. I was in awe. People always say treat others the way you'd want to be treated, but I'd say Raj took it one step further. It was truly a pleasure to be a recipient of his professional fast-food care even if for a short amount of time. I'll be back here as long as...
