Delicious thick crust pizza on the outer West Island ! Dined in to try everything piping hot We were not disappointed Very spacious, well lit, and comfortable inside with friendly counter service You order at the counter and sit down We tried their Philly Steak pizza baguette, which was unique and very good Shaped like a baguette, similar to a calzone, and with a great thin crust We ordered it as a trio, so it was served with great fries We also liked their Special Rita pizza (all-dressed with bacon and onions) Witnessed lots of takeout & delivery app orders, so it must be popular with the locals

This restaurant is really hit or miss. Some meals are good others terrible. Description below 👇 Pros: 1 - The submarine sandwiches are good. Comparable to Mike’s restaurant subs. 2 - The staff is nice 👍🏻 Cons: 1 - The lasagna is terrible, taste like Chef Boiardi 😢 2 - Fried chicken sandwich is one big Costco quality nugget in a bun. 2 - No managers are available if there are problems on the weekend. 3 - If you order something and it’s bad they have a policy not to exchange it for something different. They make you the same dish again… 🤦‍♀️

I thought I would give it a try as I saw good reviews and like to encourage local restaurants. I never write reviews but this was pretty bad. Over $50 waste of money. Ordered the large Thai pizza was average. Ordered the 14 inch triple steak sub. Had to throw it out as the meat was all burnt complete waste. Also no sauce just burnt steak with lettuce and bread. Sorry to say but I will stick with Gigi or Calzones. .

I order a lasagna and a lasagna is a very comments dish with a standard formula of layers of cheese and pasta and meat sauce etc , imagine my surprise when I got a bowl of lasagna pasta only 4 layers of pasta stuck together no cheese nothing in between cut in to strips and covered in a little meat sauce put on top of it, after being shocked I call them to let them know I though it was a mistake but all I got was a poor excuse answer from the lady saying sorry we don’t put cheese on our lasagna but maybe I can give you some pack of cheese to put it yourself 🤷🏻‍♀️ that to me have a strong message “ sorry for the inconvenience but eat it anyway “ not a better solution like we can make it again properly just to give an example of a proper apology, I explain again to her that I have order this before but yet again she kept saying they don’t put cheese and there is nothing they can do… so is that how you run a proper business? 😬 and it is not the first time these type of answer has been giving as a solution in the past … good overall menu and the Philly baguette is always good but they are missing a key component to keep a loyal customer happy…

I really wanted to post pics but I can’t see how because it will show better than I...

I tried Casa Rita for the first time a few months ago during the Euro's and I absolutely adore this place! Amazing pizza and arguably the best in Montreal! Tasty, rich, and hits all the taste buds! You know right away if a pizza is good or not from the first bite. I just moved to Ile Perrot island and tried all the pizza joints around there. Some were alright, but missing that punch. I finally heard about Casa Rita through the grape vine and decided to drive over and give them a shot. I was NOT disappointed. My dad and brother who also have tried many pizza places around Montreal agreed Casa Rita is right up there in the ranks, and placement is just subjective at that point. An absolute Gem in the West Island and gets 5/5 stars for taste, speed and warm welcome. Would recommend this amazing and tasty pizza to anyone! Give them a try, even if you're out...

Be VERY careful with this place!!! I just realized the day after that the restaurant helped themselves to a $10 tip on my credit card without me knowing!!! With the pandemic many places don't give you the final credit card receipt... that's never been a problem until now.

Make sure to double check your bill.

As for their wild response below... Yes, I do mostly review the few negative experiences I encounter out of the hundreds of interactions supporting local businesses as a warning to others. Good and fair experiences are the expectation when supporting a business with your hard earned money and therefor a good experience gets less attention. That might not be fair but what's also not fair is being overcharged and then being attacked for warning others to be careful......
