Five-0 Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Beaumont

We ordered dinner for Father's Day. Food arrived as requested and was nice and hot. There were 5 different meals ordered and every one enjoyed theirs. They did however do steamed rice with the butter chicken and not rice pilaf as it said in the menu. Plus the Naan bread was pita bread! My biggest concern is that the online menu is out of date and consequently we ended up paying approx $28 more than we expected, although didn't realise that at time of delivery. This is very disappointing and misguided advertising. My daughter called to review the prices, which is when we learnt of the big difference She was given a $28 credit, obviously to be used on her next order. Totally not acceptable. The credit should have been applied to the credit card used at time of delivery. Clean up your online menu so that it is accurate, and doesn't misguid your customers into believing this prices are great. That being said the good...

Fried chicken and fries were good. Caesar salad was over priced for what it was, extremely underwhelming. Extremely basic. Chicken that I paid extra for for the Caesar salad was 4 slices of what looked liked steamed chicken. 2/10. Zero flavour, no texture. Lasagne had peas and water chestnuts in it. 0/10. No ricotta, hamburger helper tastes better honestly. This was an embarrassment to lasagne. Steak sandwich was NOT good. Steak was extremely thin, over cooked and texture like leather. $3.5 for mushrooms which was 2 tablespoons of canned gross mushroom with zero seasoning and flavour. Scalloped potatoes were a 3/10. Quantity was good, no flavour, no cheese, dry and not creamy as well.

The service was rather poor. The server was working the dining room alone and and also responsible for the non-stop phone calls. The menu does not help give the restaurant an identity. All Day Breakfast merges with American, Chinese and Greek with pizza added in for confusion. The Green Onion Cake was ok, but not worth ordering again. The Ribs were tender and dry with a generic bbq sauce. The Souvlaki Chicken was good, but the rice was so overcooked it was just mush. Beaumont really deserves better. This place really needs to up their game if they hope to survive. P. S.
