Rocky Lake Pizza and Convenience — Restaurant in Bedford

So since the new owners took over, I had been hesitant to try the food. Took a chance one day and had one of the best and biggest Donairs I’d ever seen. Just a ton of meat. So then a few days later I ordered again and got the most pathetic looking large I’ve ever seen, to the point where my friends medium had more meat than my large. So I stopped ordering for a few weeks. Tried again and got an amazing donair. Then a few days later ordered the pizza and donairs special and was told that they have a new menu. I asked where I could view it online and they said that the owner hasn’t put it up yup or printed physical copy’s. They insisted I ordered from this mysterious new menu. Ordered 2 medium donairs and a large pizza. It came to almost $60 and the donairs had hardly any meat on them. New menu still doesn’t appear online and I feel they just charge you what they like. It’s a real shame because when it’s great, it’s really great, but consistency is king and they are severely...

I really wanted to like it. I was really rooting for it. I mean, it's good bang-for-the-buck. You get a quarter of a large pizza as a slice for about $5. Which is probably fine if you're a starving student. But the pizza isn't really good. The crust is inconsistent (thick in places, thin in places). The pepperoni is sliced too big such that it's hard to eat (and it's not rendered off first). And it's blocked with low grade cheese. It's just a large volume of "meh" Haven't tried the other menu items ... will need to go back. Staff was nice. Perhaps my opinion will change on...

I work for a small non-profit organization and we hosted a peer support pizza party in the evening at a local park. We had a very limited budget for our pizza party. After seeing a glowing review for Rocky Lake Pizza on Facebook, I decided to contact them for our event. All our pizza was ready right on time (including gluten free options!) and they provided complimentary soft drinks and even offered us discount for supporting the community!
