Taquitos Cocina de México — Restaurant in Bedford

My husband and I just left this restaurant. We took our 1 year old son. We went at 11:10 right when it opened so we were the only ones in there. We each ordered three tacos, and a quesadilla for my son. I specified the quesadilla was for my 1 year old. Their menu did not outline a kids menu so I figured it was safe to order that for him. After I paid (I paid before receiving our food in the event our son had a temper tantrum and it was best to leave quickly). After paying, we sit down and my husband points out that there is a kids menu with a quesadilla written on the black board. I’m disappointed that the server didn’t notify me of this option. Our lunch consisted of 6 tacos, a quesadilla and two pops. It cost $83 after tip. It didn’t take long to get our meals because we were the only ones in there. When we received them I was in utter shock at how small the portions were. Each taco was miniature and had a small serving of meat and toppings… I was eating more tortilla than I was actual protein. Same can be said for the quesadillas… and it wasn’t even from the kids menu. Don’t get me wrong… they were delicious. But it left a bad taste in my mouth knowing what we paid, for what little be got. Walked away still hungry. Won’t return. If you’re looking for a yummy Mexican restaurant, I’d suggest going somewhere else if you’d like to get more bang for your buck! Otherwise you’ll leave hungry…. Or at...

This was our first time here and as good as the food was, I left the restaurant disappointed & frustrated at the management of the front end (which was by a kid who looked 15).

Great good food, extremely slow service; didnt help that there was a kid server running around, obviously not taking her role seriously; she was inefficient (didnt provide side plates, she didnt bring us water, cutlery, no limes in our coronas but other waitress gives limes) - server was more focused on the need for emotional support by colleague who walked in.

Apps: Cheese quesadillas (3) small portions served with a side of sour cream, pico and rice pilaf: We asked for their sauces which improved the flavours.

Various Meat/veg tacos: Came on Taco Tuesday; these were good but cant tell you what was what because waitress dropped the food without description. Veggie taco was tasty.

Enfrijoladas: these were a great vegetarian option; large potion and extra side sauces finished nicely.

We’ll give this place another go but its suggested not to come here if...

I’ve been to Taquitos multiple times so I’m very disappointed with how my table was treated today.

The food was good as always, but the service was probably the worst I had in this city.

The waitresses are surely not to blame for being completely understaffed on a taco Tuesday, but we still left feeling disrespected and frustrated with some of their attitudes. A wait time of over an hour and a half for five tacos was appalling.
