This is the BEST place in West Bedford and worth the drive from elsewhere. The owners and staff go out of their way to get to know you, remember your name and drink preferences, and just make you smile. It’s a beautiful and uniquely curated spot with modern decor and comfortable seating options. It exudes class but lets you come in wearing anything from your workout gear to cocktail wear. Great hours, fantastic service, loads of drinks options: amazing beer selection but also lots of other choices like a great variety of vodka sodas, Moscow mule on tap, wines and more. Other places make you conform to the beer tap environment but the Taphouse really listens to customers and is constantly changing and upgrading. They don’t serve food (except for a few snacks) but you are welcomed and encouraged to order in from neighbouring restaurants, Uber eats or bring food from home. A open wide menu is about as good as it gets, really! Can’t say enough about this fabulous spot… They easily earn all the stars!...

me and my boyfriend came here for halloween last night, and it was the best decision ever! the lighting was dimmed and gave off a spooky vibe (and as someone who's neurodivergent, harsh lighting affects me greatly but this place felt super cozy), the staff were hospitable, and the overall look of the bar was very pretty with all the twinkle lights and decor. the male bartender was quick to take our first order of drinks and periodically checked in on us throughout the night which was nice and we only interacted with the female bartender once (since she was busy with other people) but when she delivered my drink in a little skull shot glass, she seemed so sweet! overall, this place is great in all aspects and we definitely will be coming here again. also, whoever was in charge of the horror movies playing (scream 2, scary movie, and the purge) needs a raise because they were fantastic to watch and made the night a...

Finally popped into this local pub early on a June Friday afternoon. It's a bright, attractive, airy space, with plenty of seating, including a small patio overlooking the car park. There's a full selection of wines, spirits and liqueurs, but the hook is the large (36) selection of local beers and ciders, advertised on the large board behind the bar. Apparently they rotate the selection on a regular basis, so there will definitely be something for everyone. No food, aside from the standard bar snacks, though they are entirely happy for you to bring stuff in and there are several decent establishments in the plazas either side of Brookline.
