McDonald's — Restaurant in Berthierville

This is a drive thru location at best or your better of going to another location. DO NOT ORDER INSIDE OR SIT DOWN TO EAT. ALWAYS CHECK YOUR MEALS BEFORE YOU LEAVE

We had order food through the app and requested table service (this is where you give them a number and they suppose to bring you your food). But just in case i stood by the front, to make sure they didn't call our number out.

It was really busy that day and i understand that but what happen next was disappointing.

Waited over 20 mins for the food, when i asked the front desk person for a follow up, she simply tells me that the food has been ready but we had to pick it up ourselves. I explained our number was never called and then she checks and says, oh its because we ran out of your drink and you needed to get something else, and then told us she called our number but we didn't see it or hear it because it was in French. Which i thought was an odd response.

After finally getting our meal we noticed that our daughter's happy meal was missing a toy and then was told they ran out of toys. However, i noticed other kids and french speaking customers getting toys. So my wife tried to ask for a toy and by some miracle a toy became available after they asked her if she was sure there wasn't toy inside the bag and then we had to bring them back an empty bag...

I only eat at McDonald's to have an Egg McMuffin for breakfast when on the road and we can't make our own breakfast and there's no local diner. Anyway, this particular resto served me a nominal Egg McMuffin with no defects, so my faith in the system remains. My wife's Sausage McMuffin was also nominal. She stole my hash brown, but I didn't mind because I consider them inedible, except in emergencies. Coffee was nominal. My first time using the touch screen ordering thingee, which was slower than ordering from a person, but we got to leave that old world behind, because pandemics and...

Wow...one of the best McDonalds I ever visited😂😮 It is a very new McDonald and you will see that...it is very stylish and it has also the new menu where you can customize you a personal hamburger and order it 😁 That is very great because not much McDonalds has that😁👍

But sadly my whole family wasn't possible to conne to the wifi because it was so slow to load the start page where you have to agree the rules... but maybe that is just a problen with android devices... But that was really bad because the wifi in them is for us really important when we are in canada...
