Marchés TAU — Restaurant in Blainville

More MOLD!!! Just last week we complained of mold on bagels. They had been moldy and on the shelves for 3 weeks. Then we found mold on samosas the next week!!!

Tau was our favorite grocery store. We've been to a few locations. The blainville location is by far the worst one!!. They have moldy bread and bagels, barely any employees present, getting food from the bulk counter can be quite a a long wait, and employees are generally grumpy. As loyal clients we went to this particular location(blainville) for nearly 5 years. We bought a bag of moldy bagels and were told they couldn't do the refund because we didn't have the receipt. Fine, it was understood. This is the policy every where! But as loyal clients we figured why not try..we had been going there for 5 years after all. As we were leaving, after being told we couldn't get the refund, the manager continues to talk after us as we leave. Which was weird! The decision had been made and was accepted by us. But the manager had something to prove..he didn't let us leave. In the end, despite getting refunded, (which was offered by the manager) we were mistreated by both the manager who accused me of being "angry" after he repeatedly explained why we needed the receipt( we knew why, that's why we originally left)and by a female employee who was being quite antagonistic and attacking us for absolutely no reason. She even yelled at me as we were getting the refund!! She was not the manager therefore she had no business involving herself the way she did yet she felt the need to. She created a very negative situation that was entirely unnecessary. employees should not be allowed to attack clients for trying to get a refund or for engaging in a conversation over it with the manager!!! This mistreatment is unfortunate for Tau blainville. we no longer have a desire to go back to this location where we were verbally attacked by an employee without any provacation on our part. With all the other health food store options, Tau blainville has lost an entire family's worth of monthly groceries!!! People check the food..bagels have been moldy and on the shelves for 3 weeks. I have just received the most abominable service in your Blainville location

I stood by the counter for a food order, noone to serve me. I asked a staff member for help, she said the employee is on break I asked for anyone else to assist me, a manager comes out to tell me that they can't do anything because the employee is on break and that she can't interrupt her because she's on a call for school and that's more important than her job, word for word!

The icing on the cake is that i myslef, as a Director of 12 locations where service is of the up most importance, wrote to and called their head quarters requesting to speak to their regional on multiple occasions before this review and NO ONE has cared to call me back which clearly validates their culture and disregard for clients. Shame on you!

I have a high standards of quality when it comes to food (and food stores), my all-time favorite supermarket is Whole Foods Market, I drive to Ottawa for the sheer joy it gives me to shop and eat there. Recently I stepped into Tau at Blainville as I happened to drive around there and decided to stop by. My first impression was very positive, everything is clean and organized, with a terrific selection of products, but what really WOW'ed me was the kitchen area, they serve the most amazing variety of warm, organic food: Grilled meats and warm dishes that look amazing, I think I had the best grilled salmon in recent memory, accompanied with a variety of grilled vegetables cooked to perfection, I stepped out of there already anxious for...
